Very well done. I've got that kit and also the Eduard PE set for it. I bought the Dragon SAS crew for a small diorama. After watching your video I think it'll be my next build. I purchased a couple of syringe needles to replace the Vickers MG barrels. This will be the most dangerous part of the build, hehehe!
Very clean build and fantastic paint job. That convinced me and so I subbed. I just received this kit and I must say it's amazing. It'll be used to replace the gun of my Tamiya "Nashorn". With the rest of both guns I'll build the PaK in a slightly less detailed towed version. During the last couple of years I built a couple of AFV Club artillery pieces and in my opinion they're at the top of the game. What did the box art say on your kit: "Scheuntor" or "Schenutor"? I know both versions are around. Anyway, thanks from Germany for correcting the name into "Scheunentor"!
@@gamerhalim4717 don't worry it's a good kit except the tracks. Mine was ripped 4 spots when I tried to put them on. Maybe you can look for aftermarket tracks for this kit. Metal tracks maybe
Great Build !!! The jeep and the Sherman tank always been my favorites. I don't know how I missed this build. Hope you and your loved ones are safe ! Take care, Tony
@@MelancholyManTR Thank you, This is the sole kit that made me decide to never buy a Zvevda vehicle again. I've only had bad experiences with their kits, specially their BT-7 kit. I've almost never built a worse model in my life than that terrible BT-7. And You are a fan of Metallica yourself?
You are right, this kit one of the worst moulded kits ever. But new zvezda kits are fine I guess. I haven't build new boxes yet but my friends told me they are good. My suggestion is do some research and read comments before you buy a kit. And of course mate, I'm a huge metallica fan and I play guitar in my local band, metallica rulez!!!
Burak Ayağ I already try to look up reviews of kits however this kit in particular had 0 reviews that I could find. It’s a shame because I think this is a very nice looking vehicle from the 1930s and nobody else makes a lot of the old Russian vehicles but zvezda
Yes I agree, it's a very good classic looking vehicle. Actually it is the main reason that is why I build this kit at the first place. But I believe zvezda will do more reboxex of those kind of kits with new moulds, so keep on waiting for the goodies.
Nearly 4000 views and only one comment??? Well here's number 2. Well done, I especially like the colours on the engine, but it all looks great, I'm just a beginner with only 3 finished kits under my belt. Haven't started dioramas yet but that is my intention once I've got the figures and vehicles to a standard I'm happy with. Hopefully I'll get them as good as this one day, I'm a fair way off yet but some of your detailing has given me a bit of extra insight in what to set out to achieve, thank you for sharing, regards, Allan
Thank you for all your kind words Allan, I'm glad you liked it. Keep your motivation to build more kits, never give up. Eventually you'll be great modeller. Im an amateur too, don't forget it's not about building great models it's all about how you enjoy it. So my only advice is just have some fun and build more models as you can. After 10-20 kits you'll realize how easy it is and you'll be a great modeller. Whatever people say just go on and build many kits as you can! And you can check my channel for other kits I've build. Cheers my friend!
Mate, I'm sorry but it's full of issues unfortunately... To be honest it's one of the worst kits I've ever build... If I wasn't a stubborn guy I would throw it to trash. But if you are an experienced modeller you can build it very well of course.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I won a few awards from Turkish Air Force Museum when I was younger. But actually I'm not into those kind of events. Maybe I can consider doing commissions if someone wants from me.
Kolay gelsin.
Feb. 2018---Great build and thanks for showing it off. After 15 years, felt my modeling mojo wanting to come back in late 2016. Thing is, didn't want to go back to aircraft/armor because of the amount of time I found myself putting into each one. Like finishing one model every month, sometimes it'd be one model every 3 months and when you have 1,500+ unbuilt kits in your stash.... Zombie/apocalypse themes seem very popular today in the movies & on tv, so wondered if anyone was building those kind of dioramas. Boy, I was shocked how many people are into these themes, along with an uncounted number of paintings of survivors, damaged/destroyed homes/cities, etc. Been hooked since. My military vehicle, figures, etc. are all in 1/35th scale and go from WW 2 to Vietnam. Going to use many of them as mil surplus. Found there's a web site called Steel Soldiers where people have a lot of mil surplus vehicles they restore in their former military colors/unit markings. And yes, have added at least a dozen new vehicle kits to my collection. Have a list of about 2 dozen dioramas I'd like to build, but need to finish 3 that I've started. They're going to be called Childhood Lost, The Fountain and The Alley. Looking at your jeep, thought of another. How about this jeep in the snow w/tire chains on it and calling it: Dashing thru the snow, in a 4hp sleigh...with zombies trying to keep up? Though the gun mount/machine gun would have to go, add a winch to the front and a canvas top. Not sure about canvas doors right now. Again, thanks for the video.
Thank you, actually I'm not into those kind of post apocalyptic projects and dioramas as well. Im just building 1/35 WWII armour and I lined them up like automotive gallery owner haha. I just like the vehicles. Im kinda fast builder, I'm 25 years old but I have 100 + WWII vehicles (only 1/35). I'm thinking as like a collector. So I guess I can't help you about that projects but thank you for all your kind words!
David and Paul both play on my album which we made 22 years ago and was just released last month. It's almost like having Lanz and Speer back together again! Please check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-poaW9fMQYyM.html
