So much so that I've decided to revolve my life around them! I was a professional dog walker for 6 years, and am now carving out my dream of starting a dog rescue. This channel offers guidance, tips, encouragement, and a sense of community to dog owners and pet professionals with weekly videos all about dogs!
My goal is to help put a smile on every dog’s face by building a community of unapologetically dog-crazy people who want to give dogs the same love and respect that they show us every single day.
My first rescue Coco came from Taiwan as a street stray. But the rescue who brought her over here did an amazing job of both leash and crate training her before she found me and decided to come home with me. So her crate was her safe space. All her 12 more years with me she would just sometimes go lay in her crate to rest. Was such a sweetheart though, still miss her.
Ive been at it for 14 years doing around 20 miles a day on foot it has definitely taken its toll on me today was a bad day i have managed ok but one dog is really testing me ans the only reason I'm walking her is customer loyalty if it was a new customer id say sorry no she needs a behaviourist I'm better with aggressive dogs than nervous ones that are constantly cannon balling in deferent directions and killing the nerves in your arms .common issue with Romanian rescue .
I found this very informative. I introduced my 1st foster to my pack almost 2 weeks ago (actually 2nd foster, in 2013 I officially became a foster-fail). I shared the link to a local rescue I volunteer with, hopefully it will inform people what to expect when they adopt or foster. I hope this prevents 'returns' after a day or 2 because a pup is scared or stressed.
I’m a dog walker too. I walk around 10 miles a day and it’s exhausting. I enjoy it though. I lift weights as well as my walks so my legs don’t hurt that much.
We just got a dog from a shelter when we put her harness on and take her outside she don't walk she sits there and doesn't move then when we finally get her outside she still sits and shakes the whole time and just sits or lays she never goes outside what can I do
I cried for several days after I brought back of my foster dog. You fall in love with them, then they fall in love with you back. But to love is to risk losing it. And to know, their happiness continues with their new adopters
It’s my second night with my little 6 lbs of love little girl. She was so matted and stinky. I cleaned her up. She took it very well. She’s so loving and has her pink Jammie’s on and is so cute. I love her so much. I don’t want to put down. I probably carry her around too much.
Great video! Most other videos have trainers who must have been wanna-be marines. So rigid and it’s ONLY about control. You’re the only one who has even addressed the well being of the dogs. Thank you.
Lost my sweet Eskie Kaiya 6 weeks ago. Still cry almost everyday thinking about her, missing her, and laughing about all the sweet things she did. I am thankful that we have our rescue dog Crystal, as she brings love and laughter to us still. A big void left without our old girl... miss you....
I have a chiweiner with a little bit of mini pin she is scared of thunderstorm she whines and shakes and pants real bad do you have any suggest or anything I can get over the counter to help her?
Hi, I have two questions if you don’t mind. I would like to become a dog walk, but not in a group setting a private setting. Now if you walk for 30 minutes or an hour how much would you charge? Second question when do you start the timer for that 30 minutes or an hour to start? Sorry, I have a third question if the client has two dogs and you can’t walk both of those dogs at the same time how do you go about that? Thank you so much for your advice.
Thank you ; Iv started a dog walking business in the hood / township , it’s not easy because most days I walk a dog I encounter stray dogs and streets dogs that are not socialized or friendly . So every time I walk I have to be on point
Ive dog walked/trained for 5 years now and personally i actually enjoy the time i spend walking and being outside. Ive worked other physical demanding jobs as well and rather take dog walking lmao but to each their own!
Get an actual job if you think this is a job people don't want to listen to you talk about dogs just wanted to see about the digging but you made me so mad by talking so much 😠
