Converting 1 Tennis to 4 Pickleball does not leave enough room. This is going to be an ongoing problem with more and more conversions. You will hear many complaints.
🤔 If you understand the Arc then you must understand the corners? The arc would be the hardest to achieve. {{It depends if building NBA distance or not. Either way I will share what I have search & found to be universally true for the NBA dimensions of the game & what I use when I build/maintain basketball courts}} *NBA DIMENSIONS* Full court size is 94ft x 50ft The key is 16ft wide & 19ft from the baseline to the foul line. A semicircle with a 6ft radius extends from the foul line. The backboard protrudes 4ft out from the baseline & the rim of the basket hangs 10ft off the ground. The backboard itself measures 6ft wide & 42in high. Subtracting the 4ft overhang from the 19ft length of the key, we get the familiar 15ft distance from the foul line to the front of the backboard. *It’s a misconception that the foul line is 15ft from the center of the basket.* Inside the key a 4ft arc is aligned with the center of the basket to designate the restricted arc. If a defender is inside this semicircle they cannot draw a charging foul. Along both sides of the key lines are drawn 3ft apart to create the standing positions for other players during a free throw attempt starting with a box that is 7ft from the baseline & 1ft wide. {{Now to get to your 3 pointer question I hope this helps.. If not comment & let me know I’ll try to help further anyway possible.}} *The three-point line runs in a straight line from the baseline out 16 feet, nine inches, at which point the line begins to curve.* *The straight lines are an even 22 feet from the center of the basket, and on the arc, the distance is 23 feet & 9 inches.* God Bless!♻️🧘♂️ -Yim
Hello, I've been approved to resurface and paint pickleball court lines on two tennis courts. Currently considering 1 pickleball court on each side of the net of one tennis court, but may do like you and have four pball courts to one tennis court. Would you please send me a list of materials and cost for a 4 pball court system?
