Being able to see what he does even when he doesnt score is a big plus. You see the compete, the mistakes he makes, etc. Stop complaining, we're lucky to have this sort of content.
He had another knee injury on October 5 2023, smashing his knee on a goalpost, try this here "Ivan Demidov Shows High Skill But Knee Injury Could be Costly" (will be at 1 : 56)
J'igorais que la traduction de Xhekaj en francais étais JACK...va finir l'année sur un 4e trio avec le CH avant d'etre ré-envoyé a Laval pour les Playoff...comme Beck et Reinbacher
Kinda scary but since this was back in April I’m gonna trust that KH and JG were aware of all this and are still confident that it won’t be a problem going forward
Yes they and all GM's were aware, his agent put on a camp on in Florida on June 18th for his clients which teams went to see him but he did not skate (I believe) and was only measured for height/weight. In fact it's been said that the Habs chose not to attend this camp to try and throw teams off picking around them.
That shift at the end of the game, wow. Shows you the games they play over there as after watching him in his VHL debut as a 17 year old and play that well yet he never got another game at that level after breaking the MHL points record the previous season for a U-18 skater.
I'm not sure, I would think so since his agent put on that camp in Florida, here's a quote from the hockey news, "Demidov isn't participating in the on-ice portion of the Gold Star camp because of a leg injury he later termed "ankle ligament" to reporters. He expects to be skating again in about two weeks. The forward also had two knee injuries last season. Milstein said Demidov is rehabbing in Florida." thehockeynews.com/nhl/chicago-blackhawks/latest-news/dinner-with-demidov-blackhawks-are-in-florida-to-meet-with-russian-prospect
If you see #70 red, that's the Preds 1st round pick from last week, Yegor Surin who went 1 pick after Hage, some Hab fans wanted to see him picked. He had a big game 1 of the series.
HE is not that great a skater in straight line but his side mnovements is really good. He is like Zegras. flashy, ultra confident, always smily, hands of gold, more playmaker than scorer. he has a good shot but its not elite by any means.
His shot is good enough. And he mentioned that he wanted to work on his strength. That can mean his skating to be a more explosive skater. He will become stronger and faster overall. There is no doubt this guy will become the best Habs player in history.
1:20 into the video I love how he celebrates, goes right the the guy that passed it and with the fist bumps he getting every on the bench and the guys behind glass it makes me think that he’s very team motivated rather than being about himself
I can't wait to see him in the KHL to really evaluate his level of talent. SKA will treat him well (Bobrov dad's working there) ... It's a good future we have ahead of us!
I'm also excited but I wouldn't put too much weight on evaluating him there.. Remember the KHL is a league where guys like Reid Boucher, Jordan Weal and Ryan Spooner are top 10 scorers. I would just take it as a year where he can develop his awareness/IQ playing against men and whatever happens there "is what it is". The first year he comes over to NA will be when we can evaluate him more seriously. We've got a gem here, I'm okay with being patient!
This game did not impress me much, he lost the puck 3/4 times et have it 😂😂 I was more impress by that romanov guy! Habs should invite him to training camp
