I was born in Co Monaghan lived in Carrick until i was ten on the Ardee Rd a lovely place I am now 86 years but remembers the happy times we were out at Shirley's Castle with my uncle Patrick Garland I hated the Convent where i went to school
It’s not a peaceful town like that now, it’s like navan all street full of beggars from every part of the world but Ireland, at traffic lights offering a windscreen wash, for money, making it dirtier than it is, dirty bastards, have the country a disgrace, and no one doin jack about it, the Garda in full support of them also very sad, 😔😔🇮🇪🇮🇪☘️☘️

i love trains so damn much. i’m so hyper fixated on them. everything about them is so interesting, i love the sounds, the way trains look, how the railroads are constructed. it’s all so satisfying

My ancestral hometown, my Grandfather, Richard Monks was born there in 1878. Our family goes back hundreds of years in this quaint little town. I was lucky enough to visit from the US back in 2019 and stayed with some distant cousins. They were all very lovely people and made me feel welcome. I hope to return one day.
