I wonder if that tunnel, is some kind of flash flood protection system, to divert the water away from the highway if the area floods. It's really amazing how much historical stuff to see and experience on route 66.
4:30 Annnnd that's why the owners of such rare cars never take them out of their protective garages - let alone risk beating them up on the strip. Hopefully it didn't destroy the rear end. Kinda looks like the u-joint just let go. 🤞
At the end it’s ok to get sidetracked on our car 😂😂😂 we just came from power tour west. On our way home, decided to watch some racing tomorrow 👍🏻🙌🏼 we are 4300 miles into this journey so far 😂
IF and that is a big IF that Coronet is a real SS car the owner is a real idiot because Chrysler only built 55 of those cars. I doubt that is one of the 55 cars. I hope it is a clone instead of the real deal. At the 15 min mark. Dude that was not a Mercury it was a Chrysler 300, or that is what is looked like by looking at the taillights, but it was not a Merc.
Thanks for sharing. You and your family have my condolences for your loss. Cruising the square one last time was a nice touch. It looked like a great turnout. 👍
You look totally jazzed out there! You had fun, chased the track and car and yourself looking for the best run you can make...and you didnt kill your car, that's a total win!
