We have the same recipe here in the Philippines but different ingredient, we call it PAPAITAN an ilocano dish but instead of cow we use Goat dung and intestines. Tried it once, and it was so delicious despite how it looks.
Another wild jungle meal! I grew up in western Washington state, USA where there were slugs on our lawns and in flower beds. These snails look just like them, but, with shells and I would never, ever consider eating a slug! However, Sam did his nodding thing while eating, giving his approval of their taste! Uncle Joe enjoyed them, too, as did, in his signature green, Grampa Bugs! Bon Appetit, my friends!
