on behalf of tank mains, we apologize ive been locking support for some time now and did not realize how toxic some tanks are, it seems like the tanks are the first ones to get toxic these days kinda makes a lot of sense in hindsight for me as to why so many teams were happy to have me as a tank even if we do lose or if i get lost in the sauce, im always nice lol
Yeah nice tank players don't know about the Toxic Tanks because of 5v5 unless they play a different role, Its always nice to have a nice tank though because it just makes the game more fun and less stressful 😅
I consider my self a pretty nice tank player honestly, I refuse to blame my teammates unless they run in alone bit won't voice it as it doesn't help on general. Peeling for your healers is something I've learned to do as it helps keep you alive and all, but that's just me! Sorry for the more toxic tanks out their but I promise some of us are good!
So in your beleifs is that if dps is 0 0 5 a tank should hope he can still get kills? ....i kinda have a philosophy that if the one is the weakest chain thats linked to the others doesnt that mean its a instant loss? Or do you think its possible to carry dps if there is a scenario that mauga tries to help the team?
Ima be 100% honest real quick, I was late again this week so I looked though my saved games and this was the one that i thought had a good about of toxicity and funny moments. But in general my mindset when it comes to OW games is if you are blaming your team when you are doing just as bad, its it don't matter if my DPS is doing 0 and 10 you are now the problem, its always better (in my mind) to keep up the vibes because it makes people want to play better. rather that give up or yell at them because they wont want to try. The tank was a good player and so was my dps it just took them a bit to lock in, but since my tank spoke up it killed the vibes early and was kind of the reason for the loss.
I played a game where my team blamed the supports (I was a support) for our loss in the first half- saying if we couldn’t compete with their heals then we would lose. So me and the other support lean in and heal like our life depends on it- and then the next round I’m told that I’m not doing enough damage…. Hello??? Make it make sense-
ive hated playing comp recently.. as a mercy main, i get called inappropriate names and get my game sabotaged when ion pocket 💀 mfs take a lick of damage n spam heals like jesus christ. Love the uploads tho <3
yeah tbh i barely play now adays, i come back to ow every now and then and it feels like shit to play i wait 10-20 in Q then people just give up and leave... but i enjoy Juno so that's a plus

The hardest part of playing tank is trying to hold the objective on your own while everyone runs off to their death one at a time. I know I’m not perfect but I don’t understand why people play like this. It’s a TEAM BASED GAME group up and play the objective TOGETHER. I can’t do it alone.
Not going to lie there was this tank I played with few weeks ago. Blaming us supports for out healed by the enemy and I be like how can we heal if you already dead before we come to you.
I love when were losing and one of my teammates looks at the stats and points out that I'm 1k heals behind the enemy. NO SHIT! were losing everyone's stats are bad

Hm yes, Cassidy has no way to kill Reaper. In a game where every character is holding a weapon and some way to move about or stun enemies... Cassidy was truly helpless to Reaper. Overwatch Devs must feel real silly that this one player pointed out a massive flaw in their game. /s

No see, you were supposed to one shot kill the entire enemy team 1v5 while your DPS sat back and did nothing but will claim all the glory. Since you didn't do that, you get all the blame. Players like that drive me nuts.
I’m a dps/tank flex player, even when I feel like a loss is not my fault I never blame anybody else. I keep the mindset of a loss is always my fault I could have done better. I could have hit more shots, created more space, exc. There are some occasions where constructive criticism may be beneficial but most of the time just staying silent is the best thing for your team. When people are arguing mid game it’s almost a guaranteed loss. If you truly are better you will climb and they will stay the same rank.
imma be honest, if you're playing illari and brig and lucio which are both off supports.. people are going to complain. so yeah, not a lot of heals or value against high damage.
I hope that Lucio was mass reported and they lost their account. To throw and ruin the game for no other reason than "Look at our team" despite the fact you guys were winning, easiest report ever. Also I think Blizzard should consider allowing players to vote and kick players like in Team Fortress 2, because I'd rather be down a player than deal with a crybaby throwing a fit the whole time, making it even more stressful.
To be honest IDK, 95% of the time it does nothing, but sometimes you can prock inspire by accident, or maybe slap a sombra out of invis, but mostly its just cus there's nothing i can really do at that time so I'm just swinging for a lucky heal prock

I hate games where everyone just needs way too much heals, like you can’t dps you can’t use your abilities you can’t do anything because people are positioning so badly that you’re forced to pump heals it’s so bs 😭😭😭😭
@@BugzieYTunfortunately that’s how some teammates are, they will strain all resources of their teammates or die just because they don’t know when and where to position, I think toxicity is worse on console since no one on PC really complains like this even in lower elos lol
