It would have been a more fair comparison if you used 2 different, clean brushes, as there will be product from the CC Cream mixed with the EL. Also, I can see the CC Cream side gathered around the eye creases. Do you use a setting powder to fix this? I personally don't like to use powders around my 41 yr old eyes- it exaggerates my fine lines.
Morning, hope you're well. From the date of your video some 7yrs ago i was wondering are you still using the stylpro brush cleaner? The cleaning solution contains grapeseed and argan oil, alot of people are complaining about it leaving the brushes oily and ruining the brushes. The contents being the reason why.
I bought nars soft matte foundation last week tried it 2 times, I was super disappointed that it creates pores like a wet n wild foundation, I took it off and reapplied it with elf poreless under it and I even used soft matte's powder but it even creates pores on my cheeks. NARS soft matte foundation is my biggest disappointment haul of 2023. I had high hopes like it would be as good as Estee Lauder double wear or Dior' matte foundation but Nars soft matte is in competition with bad performance drugstore makeup. I get amazing results with foundations from Tarte, Dior, Estee Lauder these are my HGs. Never buying soft matte again.
I actually have the big 1.0 original one, and the container is about 3 times as big, so the size of that container is _definitely_ quite annoying! 😂 It's quite heavy too, and since I have 3C curly hair, it takes a long time to finish. I've been thinking about buying the 2.0 one that you have, but since they've actually released the 3.0 one, I think I might get that instead! *Is this the best steam straightener you've tried?*
These brushes are too big for my hair which is fine and thin although and some what longer than shoulder length. Have you done a review on the Hot Tools Hot Air Brush - it has different sizes.
Im disappointed ☹️ i love the old one, my skin is already warm the matte one is make look orange 🍊. Sadly i bought it without knowing that there’s any differences :(
Jesus is coming back everyone be ready repent and believe the gospel while there's still time if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead you will be saved
The Revlon was drying my hair out. I purchased the 24 karat gold with charcoal infused bristles Hot Tools. 20 dollars more but purchased from Ulta on a Black Friday. They are actually both made by Helen of Troy. That is why they are so similar.
I did a wear test yesterday - Nars Soft Matte (Mont Blanc) on one side and Estée Lauder Doublewear (Ecru) on the other. Estée Lauder, at least on me, won hands down. That being said I am 52 and have acne-prone skin, both oily and with dry patches, and some wrinkles (again 52!) I also felt like I couldn’t move fast enough to get the Nars foundation blended before it wouldn’t spread any more. Estée Lauder goes on a lot easier. I returned the Nars foundation to Sephora today and I’m sticking with the gold standard. ☺️
How long does the double wear last (like the whole bottle rather than throughout the day)? I only ask because the Estée Lauder is 30ml while the NARS is 45ml and I’m wondering how often I would need to repurchase. Although I would probably not wear either every day and would wear drugstore (L’Oreal) for daily use; probably special occasions.
@@keirfarnum6811 I'm still on the same bottle I was using when I made that original comment a year ago. It's getting towards the bottom now. I only use one *gentle* pump (I did add the Estee Lauder pump), and it goes a very long way.
I personally think that the Nars foundation is easier to apply and looks better on my pores. If the double wear didn’t work for you I would definitely try the soft matte.
I have been looking for a good charlotte tilbury video to view the Pillow talks etc.. By far, your video has been the BEST. You look gorgeous and thank you for sharing these products. You are amazing at sharing them.
1- it has to be glass because most liquid foundations have greasy ingredients which would stick to the plastic and you woulnd't be able to clean it properly as you can with glass. 2-Watch Tom's video: Stylpro Hints and Tips 1 - RU-vid and you'll see you don't have to use Stylpro cleanser, you can use anti bacterial soap and 3- you don't have to fill the glass like you do. Just a cup full and it's enough. Really, watch the video.
It has to be glass, woman. It's more hygenic as oil and liquid fundations are greasy and would stick to the plastic. You should know that, for heaven's sake.
