VanHellington is going to provide you with lots of gaming and wrestling game entertainment. From new games to oldschool nostalgia based content, all the way to original videos and news concerning the newest wrestling games, the VHS will bring it. Just... give me a little time to build this channel😅
I always flip back and forth between SYM and HCTP being the best. HCTP added a lot of great features but it also removed a lot of great ones. I know people love SVR but in my mind it pales in comparison to what the combo of SYM and HCTP could've been with an updated roster
This was my first love this game held a special place in my heart I remember crying cuz I couldn't beat Big Bossman...but Smackdown 2 changed the game forever
Same game = different year. Same trash controls, the gameplay doesn’t feel fluid at all. I miss the wwe 2k19 controls/gameplay. The modes are all mediocre as well and online is so horrible and has been for years which SHOULD BE A HUGE PROBLEM. I regret wasting my money.
Agreed, 2K19 had better controls. And it was unnecessary, but after 2K20 they felt they needed to change it to wipe away any similarity it had to that game. And apart from the horrible finisher/signature button controls, it was arguably the best one yet. 2K24 does have a good pretty decent GM mode though, gotta give props where it's due
Great video man, I can't remember which one it was but I stopped the first time they introduced the nxt career mode or whatever it was. It felt like they were aiming for a more sim approach whereas the best wrestling games were essentially fighting games.
I think that was 2K15, the first one on the XB1/PS4. Besides the model being very detailled, everything was so bland, and all the options were severely limited. Career mode was a total slog. First time I ever gave up on a career mode in a wrestling game.
Thanks for this review . Been watching all your reviews for 2k23 and 2K22 . Im still enjoying 2K23 , but thinking about picking up 2k24 , besides the new match types and small improvements , would it be worth it ?
If it gets a big sale (probably this week during SummerGameFest), it might be worth picking up. Don't buy it full price is my advice. And thanks for watching my vids :)
To me, the 2kshowcase mode was so lame, 2k did us dirty with those few matches, and some of them being filler, also they forgot to put some memorable matches. It's funny to know that My Faction and 2kshowcase mode are the worst part of wwe 2k franchise
From the menu and videos, and specific character unlockables, 360 finished cam on command just made this so special. I felt like i was immersed in the wwe world from the time the game loaded up to finish. You can't get any better
It's alright. It looks and feels like it's their first time playing with physics. This is even more pathetic since they've made these games for 10 years. Throwing people on objects still does nothing, ridiculous. SvR2011 had this, perhaps even 2010
You'd think 24 wouldn't have the same glitch as the previous 2 games in create mode. It's so frustrating being booted completely out of the game to my dashboard when altering my CAW. I got so freaking mad the first time it happened on 24. 22 I played on Xbox One, 24 on Series X, so it isnt my console. I've used new images so it isn't that. I know I'm not the only one from online comments.
I'm watching this at a time when 2k24 is out... A lot of this still stands. It amazes me that in 2k22 create a wrestler I was often booted to the Xbox dashboard and in 2k24 I'm often booted to the Xbox dashboard...
I don't understand why they all look like inflatable dolls. And it's especially clear when it transitions to the actual match, and you see that HBK wasn't mister Olympia buffed. They buffed them like in that ps3/360 legends of WrestleMania game or wwe all stars. Like caricatures for some reason, even though they're going for realism here.
Styles throughout the game are weird. They're still applying the sport simulator formula to a genre that is intentionally not hyper realistic. All Stars did it right though🤷🏻♂️
@@VanHellingtonStudios you’re all good my guy. But keep rocking out these videos man you’re one of the best when it comes to the wrestling games community 😎
I think it's a worthy purchase, but the same glitches and bugs appear every single year. I mean they can't even have simple menu options work correctly. Universe is my go to mode, but I play it for about 2 weeks, see the same issues every year then quit playing. But other than that the gameplay is solid and addictive.
Here comes the pain Is for me the controls and updated moves It had Its just so fun & satisfying awesome backstage areas match tapes and season mode also
If only 2k24 had rumble entrance like svr 2010, svr 2011, wwe 12, and 13...its weird to see superstars like khali, bigshow, Undertaker running down the ramp 😂 .
