I love this. If the kokiri kid got in, botw would have taken place earlier in the timeline, which would have been interesting. (He looks like an ed, edd and eddy character)
@@MERCURYvsGAME I'm sorry about what happened, your discord account was very good because there was a lot of information about the legend of zelda, my favorite video game.
Damn dude, you REALLY know how to enjoy a game to the fullest. I watched many poeple play the ending (most of them cried, myself included when I played it) but your video was by far the most fun to watch. You were so captivated and motivated and really took your time to enjoy it. And you even commented on the music, which almost nobody did altough it's such a masterclass.
I'm a little baffled as to what you're saying here. Copying scenes and names 1 to 1 for no reason other than reference isn't even close to genius. Same goes with the depths and the studio ghibli movie nasicua of the valley of the wind. And the story... did the exact opposite of fixing the timeline? Did we play the same game? This story completely contradicts everything in the timeline.
The timeline has NEVER made sense and is incredible convoluted. These games make the "Legend" makes perfect sense. I'll do a deep dive into that soon. It's difficult to fully explain in 30 seconds
That's a meteo wizrobe. It's new to the series, and that's it "special attack". Not a lot of people see the attack though, saying players probably don't interact with it until they have very high damage weapons on them. Although that may just be me...
@@MERCURYvsGAMEkinda sounds like Zelda jumping rlly rlly high for some reason lol. Like they just jumping into the sky, taking a breath, then plummeting down like a tear. Makes even further sense if you think about it, bc Zelda would've been around well before botw. Tho idk if they travelled so further back that skyward sword didn't happen yet
Another great feature that just came to mind was the blood moon for BOTW & TOTK. I'm absolutely sure that it took inspiration from Majora's and I just now put those together 🤯
I appreciate that! It's weird to see the Zelda community hating on the breath of the wild formula which literally brought a fresh Zelda into a brand new generation.
Fr, idk why but I see so many videos shitting on totk as a game without fully talking about all the love that went into making it. I mean sure, it doesn't have old style zelda dungeons, but neither did age of calamity and I don't see people talking shit about that aside from how torako fucked up the timeline. The difference between totk and the older zelda games is that totk was made to give you an immersive open world game while the older games were made with the old style of zelda dungeons. I've played lots of the older games like link's awakening and twilight Princess, but botw and totk are still my favourites by a landslide, and it isn't because they are more recent, nor is it because they look better. People need to stop comparing it to older zelda titles because that's like comparing super Mario 64 to Super Mario Bros on the NES. They're 2 completely different styles of zelda games. Comparing it just gives you a worse experience as you're focusing on what it isn't, rather than what it is.
Lol literally posted this the night of release, everyone was speculating at that point. I understand it is wrong now. The endings though, there are plausible connections to the other From Soft games. Makes me love ER even more for those threads
In my opinion, all the Zelda titles prior to the switch should have a HD port on the switch. Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, the Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, all of them.
Its not to say i wouldnt enjoy being able to play it on a newer console but i cant keep supporting them when all they do as of late is remake games because they cant come up with original new games.
I mean that is fair but that's a lot of the gaming scene in general. With Nintendo, I think it's more of the fact that they are at the end of the Switch's life but outside of the 2 high profile remakes (Luigi's and Paper Mario), I can't think of many other recent remakes they've released
@KyleMercuryTV mario vs donkey Kong, super mario rpg, pikmin 1+2, and metroid prime and again it's not to say I hate these games getting a fresh coat of paint and a new console release for fans who have been wanting to see them its more why cant we get a new entry into the series improving upon the prior entry We did get pikmin 4 which was nice.
@KyleMercuryTV it is a wonderful game, and has a massive modding community on TMod Loader (pc only) I would recommend it greatly, it's music, gameplay, and everything in general are done so well
2:28 I have this problem EVERYWHERE 💀 I’m just trying to complete the game (100%) currently at like 87% and am now getting all sorts of sound glitches, mostly just sounds Not working… some visual and action glitches like climbing and enemies attacking me through stuff
That's unfortunate that people are still dealing with issues like that. I haven't played the game since I posted these. Maybe I need to replay the game and see if things are better
Nintendo is still the only game company consistently creating iconic music for almost every game they put out. Did you check out the Splatoon concert that came after this? It's probably not gonna be nearly as nostalgic since the franchise still isn't even 10 years old, but those musicians are incredible.
@@MERCURYvsGAME the new Side Order DLC is releasing in two days, might be a good time to try out the multi-player mode if you want to compete against other newcomers and not just years-long fans. The campaigns are definitely worth going through too though.
I loved this reaction. My love for the music of Zelda is strong! Skyward sword music got me in tears!!! But the music of breath of the wild and tears and the kingdom is so deep. In the first game it was my loneliness that was reflected, my journey as Link and his path to finding himself. In the second game, it's a more epic, social journey as a more experienced Link who is open to facing danger in a different way. So fantastic of Nintendo to invite us to this great concert.
I love it when ppl show their genuine passion. I've watched the concert live, but rewatching it with you here has been a pleasure, thanks for sharing! :)
Its so wonderful they recorded this for all to see. Its sad that it wasnt infront of people live like it was supposed to be. But im glad we got to view this. The instrument is called an Erdu. Its a very beautiful instrument. Hopefully they will use it more in the zelda music to come.
@@MERCURYvsGAME Yes it's rather lovely sounding. I'm glad it's become part of the Zelda orchestra instruments. Man I need Zelda to go on tour again so I can experience it all in person. I kick myself for missing out on Symphony of the Goddess tours.
