Honestly working with morons in high positions is more of a common occurrence then you think. At my work place so much corruption and incompetency leaks into all aspects.
Jim must be a true crime watcher as well because when he said the wrestling zar thing and said wanna change my name like the guy he said name was called the Chameleon was a a serial killer that travelled America using the same trick saying was a single father and then would abuse the kids then killed them and there mother was the guy responsible for the 5 bodies found in oil drums in the middle the woods 15 years apart but where put there at the same time
jim cornette is like one of the few that can call me an idiot and i would just take it respectfully due to how entertaining truthful and insightful he is growing up i hated the dood but as an adult i realize hes one of the most sane real people in wrestling lol
Russo has that uncanny ability that some individuals have to be able to hustle their way into a job. Then after he gets there and shows his complete ineptitude and everyone wonders why in the hell did they hired him in the first place.
He stopped watching wwe after Katie Vick? lol damn he missed a really cool era especially the rise of Eddie Guerrero & Shawn Michaels return to wrestling
@@xenofanallen3218 No special pleading at all everything in the universe coming from nothing seems a bit miraculous doesn't it? Something ppl love to give religious ppl shit for. As long as they get one miracle I guess
Speaking of Hernandez, I worked with him at an indie show around 2010 i think it was. At the time i was 290lbs of brick shit house. He lifts me up for a border toss and drops me down down and I swear to god he dumped me onto a bed made of soft down feathers. Lifted me like i was a bottle of water. And god, such a good guy to boot. Super funny. Very humble. Here he is, national tv star, and were all local kids just trying our best. He took his time with us, came out two days early to teach at our school for a few hours a day. Ive worked with a few national stars over the years, and he is by far in the top 3 of nicest and most giving dudes out there.
@@HomerGillette-i3p He was often referred to as Super Mex and with that size, that physique and things he could do and to my knowledge (take that with a pinch of salt) he's never injured a fellow wrestler he worked with because as Dutch Mantell says wrestlers take a vow like doctors almost of Do no harm
Matt Striker. I wish he interviewed more people because he’s fantastic at it. He asked Jim good questions, he doesn’t constantly interrupt and let’s Corny finish his train of thought, but when he does interject, it has substance and helps the flow of the interview
Its always gonna be a professional and personal hate for cornette, its always gonna be about that fucking head creative spot and had he got it in 1997-98 he would have done nothing with it and WCW would still be kicking the companies ass. Now he does this schtick for money.
I have loved everything about listening to Corny...except his nauseating limp wristed liberal agenda he decides to push every other episode. It's enough to get a thumbs down from me on any and every video where he bashes Republicans and praises the blue side. Especially while his dementia riddled president sits at pressers confused and shitting his pants😂😂😂😂. Man I hate politics, but I REALLY hate the Blue agenda in particular. Sorry Corny, this one got me to un sub. Want to do politics, then start a political pod. Want to do a show on wrestling and keep your audience? Then do that, but I'm out. You're an embarrassment to the south boy
Listening to this is interesting compared to now. Bryan is much more subdued and Jim is talking a million miles an hour. The chemistry has grown so much over the years
I watched the ECW shows on tv in the 90s. I liked it in my 20s. Now seeing what it’s done to some of them long term I don’t like it. As a blow off or once in a while treat absolutely. Only if it makes sense and only if it makes money.
Drive and determination from angle was a bit of those percs kicking in and seeming super interested caue he was feeling good. Not taking away from angles drive dudes one of the most determine hardest workers ever. I'm just saying he had a little help feeling good.
