i triggered the super mario anti-piracy screen by playing the game naked, an egg appeared, smoked a blunt, said “HELO, ME ARE BLUNT EG, DO NOT PIRACY” and then hatched to reveal a heavily dithered image of a spider
A few years late but I feel like since fnf is getting slightly more popular now due to the new update, I'd like to give my take on this. So basically, I feel like people who are mad at fnf for being easier than other rhythm games are expressing a form of elitism. Like, I feel like a casual rhythm game is fine, and since fnf is so beginner friendly, it can get new people into rhythm games as a whole. I've always believed that rhythm games are kinda underutilized/underrated and don't get too much attention, so a rhythm game getting attention, in my opinion, is not a bad thing. Like for example, saying that fnf needs to be as hard as the hardest rhythm games is like saying every RPG needs to be as hard as Dark Souls. Yes, if every RPG was as hard as Dark Souls, the people who can easily clear Dark Souls would be happy, but there's such a high skill floor that newer people (Aka children and older people) can't really get into the game, and just yelling at fnf players saying they're bad is just not helping them actually get good. Yeah, they may be bad in comparison to harder games, but just telling people they're bad isn't going to do what you want it to do: get them better. Fnf is a good rhythm game to start with until people playing get bored and go on to harder games like osu mania or quaver or etterna or more examples. Please note that this entire time, I'm defending the idea of a casual rhythm game, not fnf itself. Fnf definitely does have a lot of problems, and I don't want to ignore them. However, sometimes those problems can be overstated. The community honestly sucks though. It feels like every other week we see a new fnf mod developer come out to be a pedophile.
One thing this reminds me of, not an anti piracy thing but rather a game demo of Castle Crashers (I believe the remastered version) it lets you play a few levels and then stops you in the middle of a boss fight showing the boss laughing at your character stuck partially buried in the floor, and then it sends you back to the title screen after you press something to continue.
One thing I heard about but can't confirm that i thought was funny was an anti-cheating measure in Titanfall where if the game detects you cheating you'll only ever be matched with other cheaters.
If i remember correctly the backwards title screen audio people claimed was part of an anti piracy thing plays the first time you return to the title screen after getting the game's bad ending. I can't confirm it's the same exact audio because it was a long time ago, but I was messing around in the game gettigj achievements and stuff and decided to get the bad ending for the first time, and then the music was wrong and sounded reversed when it sent me back to the title screen.
NSO has improved since 2022. It’s definitely worth it now with the addition of Paper Mario Goldeneye And a lot of gba games that I would list but I can’t remember all of them
Omg I was trying to play Spyro again and I stumbled upon this video u don’t know the amount of relief I felt 😮💨 I always thought the game we had was hunted as a child I even got water trauma because one time I came back to the first level and the water was gone GONE I dropped down and couldn’t go up again had to delete the save 🤣🤣🤣 sweet childhood memories 🥹
Yeah, I pirated among us once. The impostor came out of the phone, ate my grandma, stole my credit card, made a turkey sandwich, and did a jazzy musical number where he listed every crime in the us law enforcement’s history twice. it was horrifying.
How to make impossible questions possible? Use cheat engine and find the variable that holds is it impossible and set it to 0 to make it possible in real time.
6:37 How dare you accuse RU-vid comments of lying! I’ll have you know many of us graduated top of our classes in the Navy Seals, and have been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and we each have over 300 confirmed kills.
i will always remember the anti piracy method of Unknown worlds for subnautica. its was a stupid chill message in the feed back. it was fake feed back of people saying they are playing an illegal game but they like it. the devs replies were quite simple: "We are glad that you like it and recommend it to your friends" and another was like "Think of purchasing the game then!" Expect the message, unkown worlds did nothing else. its mega W from them. i read somewhere one game owner of another game just straight up put his game on a piracy site and let them have the game for free Game Staff are W by using methods like this. aknowledging the pirates but just mention to think of buying the game if they like it
Nes bootleg games, especially those by wisdom tree and tengen, would use a process to overload one of the chips... which could result in permenantly damaging it. If there's no OS in the console, there's always another way.
28:55 this is my villian arch to make 100 keys with a stupid variety of notes, some weird note movement, the window moving and jumpscares to prove fnf can be difficult when there is 7 billion notes in half a second
I think friday night funkin is an interesting case of popularity creating expectations. It was just a small game originally made for a game jam, after it polished a bit, open sourced, just to be a fun community love letter to stuff like new grounds, nothing major, nothing even really commercial at first... then it hit it big... then the Kickstarter got demolished (in a positive way)... on one hand, especially with Kickstarter money, I can see why people would expect something grater, but also it's interesting to me how popularity is not always proportional to the level of ones creation, and how new found popularity can appear out of nowhere (seemingly) and skew the perception of the thing for new people coming in. Main reason why I avoid hype and try to avoid digging too much into popular stuff, other then a surface level "does It SEEM like I would like it?" because if I go and get taken over by hype, and hear like 100 times how good a game is and how it is literary a masterpiece... the good bits are going to be the bits I kne would be there and I would be expecting it, so I would just be left to discover the bad bits, and get disappointed, and in the worst case, fall in for wild speculation and expect stuff to be in the game that are just not there... and even thou I could have enjoyed the game, now I will not.
beat saber is the only rhythm game I've enjoyed, though to be fair the only other ones I've played are geometry dash, cadence of hyrule, and club penguin dance contest
So if Freddy can't enter the office while the camera's down, and he becomes frozen when the camera's on him, does that mean you just have to keep the camera on 4B and he becomes completely neutralised?
i am watching this video in 2024 after i converted to osu!mania.. about the game being hard.. There is a song called Final Destination God Mode which is a secret song to the mod shaggy x matt that took a few months for someone to even complete and nowadays there are people able to FC that song..i am sure that something like that wont go out again but overall i liked the video and you earned a new sub i like the content as i enjoy this type of it W video
