2:05 is literally how these 2 neighborhood truly look like. Yes, you can buy your McMansion on the lake but it’s not particularly appealing and your yard is ridiculously small. The rest is 2:05
Well now there's the rub now isn't it. Is this really just a 'slow down' or is that what everyone wants to think it is ? Are the BoC and Fed attempting to 'lower rates' because the 'data' indicates they should, or are they doing it to maintain the illusion that everything is 'ok', to bolster the profit making of the top 1% who are the ones making all the gains...It ain't the little guys winning.
my friend works at RBC in downtown Calgary and she and her partner sold their townhouse as she thinks there will be a large pullback in Calgary/ all of Canada. she sold in june and now insolvencies and up and credit card useage is also way up.
@@ryanhawkinsyyc no but she thinks at least 20% given larger economic trends- unemployment rising, banks cutting rates and 100% a bad recession. Given that we will have less immigration for a long time too and conservatives will tie immigration to housing availability I think she is right- the question is after selling and purchasing fees of another house will be be ahead? Or is it more just peace at night. I’m a buyer on the sidelines and can and will wait for a correction to make me money money in the mean time with stocks and bonds and GICs
Yes they did the right thing and yes it's going to cause a lot of headaches, especially among the NIMBY homeowners. You can already hear the screeching the next town over.
Gondek slams 'populist moves' feeling Calgarians won on rezoning... She is easily the worst Mayor in the history of Calgary and in 2025 the whole council will be gone! Bye Bye Gondek!
The first step to successful investment is figuring your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but it's very advisable you make use of professional
In March we sold 1149 Single Family Homes. 540 over asking or 47% 175 at asking or 15% 434 under asking or 38% This seems to be the common trend every month at the moment.
Nah, these economists are the same paid schills from the Frazier Institute that signed the petition supporting the carbon tax. Rates won't drop until a few.months after the Election in 2025
Wow i never ever have had a home even since i was born. Ive lived through others abuse. Someday i pray ill have a home this beautiful for me and my baby due soon. 😅 you can wish right.
You will! Just be disciplined with your expenses and be realistic with what you make $$ at work, so buy a house or apartment that fits your budget. You don't want to live beyond your means, remember that 😉
Ryan thanks for these tours man, but camera movement is not good when you are looking around.. makes me (I'm very sure others will feel the same way) very dizzy...
saw your RU-vid channel video and understood it was Very nice. But your channel has problems something, I want to show the problems. but the video doesn't get more views and subscribers because your video is not SEO. It is responsible for: 1. Channel videos are not properly SEO 2. Videos are not reaching the people 3. There is no rank tag in the Video 4. Video SEO score is55 out of 100 but SEO score should be 95+ to rank video 5. channel tag not good 6. There is no video tag and other technical problems If you solve this problem you will get many views.
Beautiful home. The lot doesnt make sense. 3 million dollars but I can smell my neighbors feet im so close to them. With that big of an investment I want more privacy.
Something that many people don't realize when it comes to home buying is perspective. Your perspective is that if you are paying more, you should receive more (more space, more privacy, more upgrades) which is a valid opinion. More can come in many forms. However, these buyers were perfectly fine buying a luxury home with less yard because they don't want yard maintenance, which is also valid. Each to their own when buying a home and what their lifestyle may want to be.
The cons looks like pros for me. Why? We live in Vancouver and we are looking at potential move to Calgary. And Alpine Park (beside Rockland Park) seems to be one of perfect options for us to move to. At this moment we are doing our research and are going to have a family trip in Canmore, Alprine park is in our visit list to see that area with our own eyes (not just videos in YT). Is there a site or something we can check from time to time on the progress? There are few activities in progress in our life and we would like to see if they match with the progress Alpine Park neighborhood is growing to a point we will make the move.
It all perspective for sure! You are always more than welcome to visit the community and visit the show homes. Alpine park doesn’t have a community info center but Rockland Park does. Rockland Park is much further along than Alpine Park. Rockland Park just started building their HOA facility last year! But Alpine Park is also starting to take shape with their center park being started as of last year. Hope this helps! My email is: ryan@themckelviegroup.com if you have anymore questions!
