Thanks for the compliment! I have never flown around the house until the COVID hit. I'm always precautious and it is a fun way to end my work day. Hit me up if you need a hand or advice!
Yep - in a bad way... Warranty claim underway. The last few seconds of the video was corrupted due to the impact of the GoPro - Imagine a high speed run down the middle of the building and climbing to shoot the same window without the required altitude... Looking for a backup now that I know that one will be needed. Over a year with my first build is not too bad though...
I’ve not had such luck, my first build(5”) is still in tree from almost 2 months ago. Then I bought a complete drone from GepRC, a 3” with a RunCam split for HD and it lasted a month before I broke an arm. This last weekend I just got back in the air with the Acrobat frame and the guts from the GepRC and I’ve only been flying since January basically. Still though I can’t stop it’s really fun when I’m in the air. Where’s that construction job I’d like to try those walks before they get the roof on?
@@r6quickify You should join the HappyQuads FPV Racing Facebook group. Some great FPV people in the upstate. I also posted the GPS coordinates for that location in that group.
Thanks man! I really appreciate that! I've been flying electrics since the first park fliers and heli's came out. Took a hiatus and jumped head first into FPV last year. Nowhere near the level of Steel or Le Drib, but I will get there! Are you in upstate SC? If so, would love to rip sometime!
Yeah I’m just south of Greenville and it would be great to fly with someone. I’m ordering a drone tonight so I’ll be back in the air soon. I lost my 5” setup to a tree recently.
