My friend borrowed me one 2 years back travellings from Tembisa to Limpopo with a bed, fridge and 3 piece room devider and 5 adults & 1 child. TOTAL cost of diesel was 3k due to local limpopo short trips. It was a 3.0 D-4D pre facelift.
They are eating my pocket honestly😂, but i feel like its because i drive a lot. I'm also planning to make the car to be as good as new. Lucky side of this car is that parts are super cheap. I mostly smile when i ask the price of the parts, most of them are under N$400
I'm learning alot here as I'm currently shopping around for my first used can. I think as a first time car buyer, I'd rather spend some more cash on a lower mileage unit.
@@DriverNerdAutomotives Did you have a mechanic when you were checking the vehicle at the point of buying. In other words, did you have someone to do a pre-purchase inspection before buying?
I did, i bought the car from someone i knew and was already familiar with it. But its always a good idea to bring along a mechanic or someone with good knowledge on cars when you are buying a second hand car
@@DriverNerdAutomotivesdon't change the oil you are using . That the right viscosity oil for a car having such milage. If in doubt, consult the user manual or the vehicle manufacture first.
Your car has already covered 284,533 miles, and it's only been in your possession for 3 months. Consider opting for a vehicle with lower mileage next time. Remember, older cars tend to come with higher maintenance costs, while newer ones offer more affordable upkeep.
