I didn't know Adam, he has an incredible voice and what can I say, the fantastic song, I had the pleasure of meeting him and talking to him in Taormina, fantastic person
So grateful i got reunited with this great song.been on my mind for awhile ,just couldnt remember the band yet the images of the band and the voice was in my head. A couple of days ago the word chocolate starfish just hit me in the head while walking.. Bèen listening to them ever since...great song ...great band ....aahhh regressing in my youth..
Adams teaching school kids to sing and showing them us country guys can make it out there... well kids with talent...not ship wrecks like me..lol... on ya Adam.
Ahhhh man, does this bring back some memories. Mostly of being drunk outside the Station Tavern in Greville St Prahran with Rod Stewart doing army rolls into the bushes, that had concrete chairs concealed in them. Its ok, the Black Sambuca took all the pain away... Only laughs and memories left
I thank the Lord Our Imaginary God I don't smoke or inject the adulterated drugs this fuckwit prescribes for himself. I've done some powerful chemicals in my time, taken some wild, mind-bending drugs, but I've never been to Richard's dealer and never managed to get this far removed from reality. Ripped off, I guess. Story of my life really.

Kind of spewing I didn't embrace Chocolate Starfish more when they were at their peak back in the early to mid 1990's but find myself doing exactly that now that I'm older and appreciate their music - in particular Adam Thompson's unique voice. The one and only time I saw them live was (oddly enough) at a Desperate and Dateless Ball in Melbourne around 1997 (I think). I remember being blown away at the enormous energy Adam ran with on stage. Wish there more of his music available through iTunes to purchase.
