Racism is everywhere. I faced that wherever I went. In Austria too where i lived for some years and i am planning to go back there because of standards of living . I have met very nice people in Austria and the majority are not racist. I think it is not ok to generalize and say austria is racist. Other than that you are free to move somewhere else, nobody holds you there. You may lose what Austria offers but you will feel better. Again, I read the comments that say bad place bad people, rude, racists. I mean come on! You made a whole nation racist which is not fair. Some of the best people I have met qre Austrians. Stop whining and leave all of you. But keep in mind racism is everywhere
Hi @chevantaeplummer ‼️ thank you for watching 🌷 I'd rather tell u here cause I don't really plan on making videos about that topic. As mentioned in the video, I have a few health issues. One of those is hormonal imbalance. I took some time and went through detailed checkups (blood work was the main one, metabolism, blood pressure, ecc). Based on results, I was given tips and a preferable meal plan to apply. So i eliminated a few things from my diet, such as milk ( turned out I am lactose intolerant and didn't know, which explained bloating, breakouts, slow digestion). This alone made a huge difference. Now, I have a daily 10-15mins home workout and I walk more when possible. That's pretty much it. Hope I answered well enough 💐 subscribe if you haven't yet 😉
You should not feel surprised. Austrians do not like other Austrians from other regions not to mention other nations plus the ones with different skin color. Avoid that place and you should be fine. There are so many nice countries out there. What in the earth is taking you to Hitler's homeland?
For your information, I am a white french guy (blond hair you know like a nazi!) and over there, when i am surrounded by black or arabic people, some of them always stare at me very badly. Sometimes they spit on my way or even insult me or my wife. I don't know if a white guy has ever put a gun on your face. It happened to me (from a black guy) in my teenages, in my hometown. Just saying...
The main problem in Austria is the many often completely crazy people from war zones or people who are close to the Taliban. Many Austrians don’t know a “normal” POC. I met my first “normal” POCs on vacation in London... and I'm 50 years old! But just from the wide country....
Best Film about Austria, Safari from "Africa Television" thru Austria and its closed, wild native people... "Das Fest des Huhns" "The festival of the chicken" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Hy2PAdzMd-0.html
There are far more violent crimes from Blacks against Austrians than vice versa, so cry more pls. Same with Arabs and most other non European immigrants (not Asians though). That is not a racist remark, just statistics.
Why do y’all keep moving to these countries that disrespect you and won’t accept you ?? That’s crazy. What I am trying to say is that we all have choices and free will. It’s your choice so you have to deal with it. There are so many other open minded countries to go to !!!
Austrians are rude, but so are Americans. You meet somebody the very first time in your life and they call you by your first name and act so as you were just crawling out of bed together. No manners. Austrians have been thru two Worldwars in a short time and they are very worried about strangers invading their small country. I would suggest, if you are unhappy, you find another country.
You come to a superior country like Austria and you have put in no effort into learning the language and you expect them to bend to you. You seem like a very kind and beautiful lady but you need to understand something. Austria is not Canada or the USA. Its ethnic Austrian and they speak German. Austrians have no time for unserious people that come to the country.
Hitler was austrian ! He want to kill all the black people in the world and the jews.... As a east european i ask you to just run away . It s the most dangerous place in the world for blacks.... Forget about british, americans.... Nobody will listen to woke, blm, and all this nonsesns.... They will kill you strait away if they gona lose theyr patience..... Be very carefull. UK have patience , they are going down at yours levels, but not all the countryes have time for you to become like them...Anyway you will never become...
It is equally difficult to live as white person in Africa and none complains but tries to do best to carry own duties without creating conflicts. It is obvious that this different etnicity , not speaking the language , strange culture and low IQ that cannot cope in austrian enviroment will be wise to quicly return to own origin home then overstay their welcome and needlesly complain.
About Racism. its time we understand we all live in two worlds. the world within our head and the outside world.most times what creates the world within our head(mind) are the things we were exposed to at the earliest stages of our life, things like, environment, school, friends, stories, including the mindset of our parents. these shapens how we perceive the outside world, especially the people of color. racism will nevr die but it can be greatly reduced to a very minimal level through the right education. its very hard for a matured racist to have a change of mind,
hey i'm just seeing this...planning to come to Austria ...if this can happen to a beautiful black lady like you ...i guess i ll be speechless for myself ...stay strong pretty eyes...nice one ..
Put on an US or England-Cap, so everyone can see that you are an tourist, take on good clothes, bee normal and you are safe. We dont like mentally ill/mad/crazy mirgants from conflict zones. The problem in Austria is, that we dont know many normal people form other countries, but very, very much completely crazy migrants and especially blacks they make crime with machetes and abuse/rape womans.
@@smileykeiko In Austria it's really the case that they've never met a normal black person, but they've met a lot of crazy people from war zones. I saw the first normal black people of my life on holiday in London. True story! 😀😀😀😀
@@smileykeiko Watch scenes of the movie “The Feast of the Chicken.” A stupid film about Austria that illuminates a lot of things in a funny way. A black man goes on a safari through Austria and sees the strange customs of the closed, wild locals at tent festivals. :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Hy2PAdzMd-0.html
4:20 you come as a foreigner and the first episode you talk about is the AMS (government employment office), which means you came for social benefits. No wonder they reacted pissed. You don't need the AMS to find yourself a job.
This is where you mistake it. The AMS as you well defined, is an employment office and not JUST [ just is the key word ] a social benefit organisation. You dont have to register for the benefits. You can but don't have to. I have in the past been registered there without receiving any financial compensation. I wanted to multiply my chances in the work search. Doing so, my profile was visible in their systems. Just like i was on LinkedIn, Hokify, ecc. And on top of that, I was required to be registered there to obtain an essential document I needed to live here. Which is the ANMELDEBESCHEINIGUNG. It was a necessity. Not a benefit grab. And last but not least, I legally had the right to do so anyway. When you move to Austria [ at least with my Pass ], you get a "Welcome Package" [ if I can call it so ] that grants you access to the working market and to a basic German course. Both things are done through the ARBEIT MARKET SERVICE [ AMS ]. Why? Because the language and a job are essential for your autonom sustainability. That's very well though if you ask me. If I land you a hand right at your arrival, it is less probable for you to need any benefit in the future because you are then able to provide for yourself. That def is my experience. The company I work for now, "discovered" me on the AMS platform. I was already employed somewhere else but my profile was visible on the platform and they wanted me and eventually contacted me.
I am assuming the only reason your thoughts process is this one, is because you or people you know use this platform for that : financial benefits. If you think, and if they also really thought that about me at FIRST GLANCE, then again [ back to the topic of my video ] it is racial profiling. Or if not specifically racial, then at least discrimination of some kind. That goes to prove you again : we are not all the same! In the sense that, we do not all behave in the same way and with the same motives. Don't treat me poorly based on your assumptions that are quite literally made up in your mind. Do better.
@@smileykeiko being an Austrian I have never ever been my whole life at the AMS and now since I am living since more than 15 years abroad I have also never been to a similar institution in any other country. AMS is for social benefits. You could have attended a German class out of your own pocket, in a private language school, but you wanted to attend the one paid by the AMS. Tell me, in your home country, does the government pay language courses to random foreigners? (and I don't mean Italy)
Yes, the US does. I don't know what the criteria are for an application. The AMS [ again Arbeit Market Service ] is for employment. Austria offers financial benefits if you wish to receive any. Don't is not a must. I am employed and still have access to the platform through my profile [ you are provided with login informations such password and account name ]. You are regularly sent job offers and employers can contact you directly as well. On your profile , you obviously upload a CV and a letter of presentation. I am not talking about 20 years ago. This is what I know by facts, and I haven't been here for 20 years neither. I have a B2 level in the German language. I have not attended a German course offered by the AMS. I paid from "my own pocket". That was simply an additional information I gave you. That was not my own experience. I have a hard time understanding why this is such a triggering topic to you [ aka the AMS ]. In all the 3h of me speaking in that video of racism encounters, you seem to be very concerned about the Arbeit Market Service. It's odd. It's actually pretty easy and simple to check those facts. Call them. Inform yourself. And this being the last time I will give this AMS back and forth disagreement, I would like to remind you that the topic of my video was about racism to begin with. So, either you [ AMS and you ] had it right with your assumptions [ which we now hopefully clarified to be wrong ] , that DOESNT make discrimantion and racism justified. So whatever point you've tried to make here, hasn't made the treatment reserved for black/asian/blue alien/grey mermaid/ecc in anyway right. Let that be clear as day.
[ thought I was done ,but obviously have one more thing to say ]. You telling me [ as a white Austrian person ] that you have never needed to look for a job through the AMS , doesn't invalidate my experience AND need to multiply my job search chances. Its not something I am privileged to do as a foreigner here. You never asked , but let me update you : I moved here with my savings. You have no idea why [ and I am not obligated to share about all of my private life if I don't wish to ]. I got a private apartment on my own. Paid for all my necessities [ included German courses ]. I lived out of my pocket for months, before getting a chance to prove my abilities at work despite my not-so-perfect German. I work my a** off. My entire life. Today : I own a home, a car, a company and a RU-vid channel that brought you here, right now, reading this. I am thankful for the good I have experienced. I am thankful for the bad as well, cuz I can share and advice others. And most importantly [ ont his platform] I am free to share my experiences with whom dares to listen and learn, or feel seen, or less alone, or want to share as well. Whatever the reason being. Racism exist. These were/are my experiences with it. AMS or no AMS. Pocket or no pocket. Racism was wrong back then. Racism is wrong today. Racism will always be unjustified.
i myself am a white foreigner living in austria so i can attest to all u r saying... i can only imagine how hard is for black folks in this country :/ hopefully the demographic change will soon get to them n teach them their place :D
The first thing I notice was your beautiful eyes. To the point I wondered, are those really yours. You're well spoken and beautiful. Your spirit is to be admired just by your active lifestyle. You're in the upper echelon in intelligence. That can be threatening to most who stay within a seven mile radius. You stand out. Go forth. The kingdom of heaven is within you. I'm happy to hear from you in Austria. I'm in the US. Just moved to Virginia. Enjoy. Stay happy-go-lucky.
God knows how thankful I am to read your comment on this day. Kind words and beautiful intentions. Rarely found these days. Thank you. Thank you for lifting me up in a moment that seems random to many but truly meaningful in actuality. Words are important. Your words surely are to me. I am greatful for you today. Blessings 🌿
Thanks for sharing your experience. Unfortunately racism is still a big issue, especially in austria. People whispering weird comments, behaving Different, because they are living in their own small bubble...But as soon it is about foreign food, they stop complaining and eat.
I’m a black male born in America and also live in America. I have a question. Since The System of Racism White Supremacy is a global system are the White people who globally believe in and practice Racism living in a small bubble or is it us the global black majority collective that is in denial about White Supremacy Racism?
I'm from the Netherlands and I've been to Austria a couple of times. I'm not going to sugar coat it. That entire cluster of countries. 🇨🇭 🇮🇹 🇨🇿 etc is racist af.
Honestly, please just travel in Europe but be aware that racism does exist. You can be vigilant but it's not nazi Germany times. You can move around along as you are legally allowed to. People don't see racism when it does effect them. An Austrian has never been racist to me but doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It really isn't restrictive as a policeman will pull you up in the USA. I have travelled alot , Slovenia , Slovakia, Sweden, Netherlands, Japan Norway, Spain Portugal, Belgium, Germany. Many more places around the globe. The only place I received physical racism was Spain in May this year. but it didn't stop me from visiting again in August.
