I thought the Bone Breakers were based on a modified pair of 81s? The Het Set are based on modified set of 81/60s. So wouldn't it be more appropriate to compare the BBs to a pair of 81s?
Great job my friend! The guitar is beautiful.A question... can you sand after each coat of paint to kill any remaining impurities? And then with the varnish will it still remain shiny?
I'm starting to wonder if we can start calling Charles amongst the top 10 guitarists ever. I'm not even joking. The solo in petrified orange is beyond anything I've ever heard
I appreciate the larger reverb/echo/longer delay versions as they sound more Heavenly and angelic. A simple noodle tune brought to magnificence and relevance. Amazing!
great video! i recently bought a set of these for my epiphone explorer, but it has a killswitch already installed when i bought it and i was wondering if when i swap out the pickups will the killswitch not work anymore?
If you make review you must know how play and control guitar. You have too much beginner shitty finger noises on strings, it's typical beginner mistake. But if you playing only for 5-8 days, it's good result, but if longer - you loser.
The EMG 81/60 was the best IMO and what Hetfield used early on! My favorite!! I like the EMG Het Set but IMO it is just way overly distorted, lacks a lot of dynamics of the 81/60
Can someone explain to me what the difference is compared to the new js32t models? It's the only ones I've picked up from offer up one RR and a JS Minion are they that different from each other ?
I definitely agree with of the stories I read in in these comments the original Frankenstein would probably fetch 8 to 10,000,000 will never know. Wolfgang owns all those EVH guitars.
5 wet paint coats. 5 mins. Then 5-6 crackle coats. Heat gun 7 inches away or so. All very heavy paint coats tho. Dont worry about drips because the paints all gonna move around anyway.
Yeah the nut on this is a George Lynch thing also, he has the fretboard wider than the locking nut on his guitars because he likes playing wide fretboard classical guitars, don't get the logic myself of having the string spacing more narrow at the nut myself, but hey if it works for him then whatever
