A fantastic company... ALSIM supplied two simulators to me for use by my Air Cadet squadron here in the UK, they were fantastic training tools and provided many hours of training for hundreds of cadets!
@@SCST987 Nope! The final approach to the runway is visible and we all know that the throttles are held and constantly adjusted during final approach -- my point is, the throttles, and the pilot flying the approach has his hands not visible in the video, so I didn't understand your "point". Not important really -- just making the point that you are wrong. Move on.
@@sharpy6287 i’m just trying to understand here... So it’s nice if u could share ur knowledge! He puts his hand on throttles at 100ft... and before that, we don’t need to have hand on throttles?
@@SCST987 Of course we do! We adjust the throttles regularly on the whole of the final approach ... more so as we near the runway and depending on wind speed and direction for example. Many a time I've landed in HEADwinds of close to 30 knots with 40 knot gusts ... You're on the throttles, pushing them forward and pulling them backward whilst adjusting attitude for the whole approach so as to maintain a constant airspeed. I am not a jet pilot btw!
