Great video once again 👍🏼. Thanks for sharing…. Could you create a video on different types of chainsaw chain sharpeners, if possible? That would be great if you could. Cheers 🍻
G'day Dave, this saw is modeled after the MS660. Ignition coil replacement isn't a common thing, this video is purely for educational purposes for the off chance you do need to replace it somewhere down the line! Great Chainsaw to have in the arsenal!
G'day Wayne! Great idea! We film videos every Thursday and upload the following week. I have added this to the list so will hopefully have something up in the next week for you! Watch this space.
you can also see if petrol comes from the pump with the line disconnected, while cranking the engine. if fuel comes out then the problem is down stream from the pump. If it runs after placing fuel in the carby line then you have a dilemma.
Hi! If the chain is new you won't need to adjust chain tension if you have the correct chain for your bar. However, as the chain ages it naturally stretches so you may need to adjust it after some time.
A fairly knowledgeable dealer once told me that people usually dilute it with bar oil. Something like 30% bar oil and 70% bearing grease makes a nice pasty slop.
LMFAO.. at the comments... Jono Johno couldnt have made this any easier.. lol. the AMOUNT of people that try and outsmart their common sense is CRAZY.. lol.
I have an old Oregon model I have never used and which I am about to try. The manual says "Position the chain guide T-bars so that the tops of the chain rivets are barely visible over the T-bars. The pressure screw (on my model a thumb screw) and the T-bar adjustment knob (a spring loaded knob) on both sides of the T-bars must be tightened equally so that the T-bars are centered in the frame. The pressure of the T-bars against the chain is adjusted by the pressure screw. The pressure is correct when the chain can barely be pulled around the bar by hand. Adjust the stop screw (stop for the "middle" square bar) so that the file's center line hangs directly over the T-bar center mark.

G'day MrJFoster1984, Thanks for your question, To operate the Perla Bar 65cc Multi Tool safely, we would not recommend using any more than 1 extension.
hola, en el minuto 1:45 los tornillos filips deben aflojarse y abrir el arco hasta lo maximo que te de la guia de la lima o las superior, el mango debe quedar comodos y no debe molestarte las barillas de guia. saludos !

Perfect fit for my Echo CS-370, and the chain cuts very well ru-vid.comUgkxBd8qUztQUCL8Rm1-aIig5ViBT2E_kO_6 . I had been using a Stihl chain that I had sharpened several times (sometimes at a shop, sometimes with my own electric chain sharpener), and there's no comparison -- the new chain cuts much better and holds its edge longer. We'll see how the new chain holds up when it needs sharpening, but for now I'm happy.
