I'm really impressed by how strong Jeff's jyodan is. As a person who started jyodan recently, I really admire his style. Its sad to not seeing him in tournaments anymore.
@@BokushingusKendoTV I was talking about his feet when going into jodan. He stepped back with his right foot, instead of forward with the left, which looked rather like withdrawal, instead of going forward to engage (refer to kata). The pressure from both sides was massive though
@@thenipplerider4323 i know what you were talking about. I have been doing Jodan no kamae for 8 years. I have also keiko with both Michael and Jeff. Im not sure if you have played against Jeff Sensei, but his seme is very strong. His footwork is very smooth and i have witnessed him back people up to the line. Btw, chudan should not step back either.
El espíritu del kendoka blanco es increíble, se siente......no solo ganó con los puntos, en espíritu e intención de ataque siento que fue superior. Gran shiai, muchas gracias por subirlo a RU-vid. Saludos desde Perú 👍🏼
Hey! I really enjoy the content you provide, I just wish you'd put a bit more information about the match in the description, names of the competitors, some info on them, your impressions on the match in the description, I don't know if thats a feasible request, since there are so diferent people., but i'd personally really enjoy it! Please keep it up!
Chuck Norris hi thank you , Chuck. Sorry I have been away for so long. Mostly, I agreed to keep Match information very simple and abstract without permission from the competitors and Tournament officials in order to be allowed to film. But this year, I will ask if I can put more info into the descriptions.
Chuck Norris you welcome. There’s a Tournament I’m covering this month. I’ll ask if I can add more information from the competitors and the Tournament administrators.
Freeman Fly you welcome... a ton uploading while I’m at work tonight. Will release them when I’m off in morning. I watched on my 4K 60”screen!!! Felt like I was right there!!!!
INTERESTING SPORT... keep the good vlog... May I share a vlog about Tokyo Streets to Kasuga Taisha temple in RU-vid Kx8RkBteUZQ Read also the article in "stenote blogspot" in May 2018 Folder.
Bokushingu's Kendo TV Right I get I meant inbetween strikes, is it like a psyche yourself up for the next attack kind of thing? Will you lose points for not yelling between?
Colin White you won’t lose points. Kiai in between strikes/attacks is kind of hard to explain. I have watched videos of myself I didn’t realized I had kiai a lot in between attacks. Kiai is spirit. Not really psych yourself up, but more a projection of your spirit(nothing mystical but attitude and enthusiasm during a match). It’s very difficult to explain. But I guess it is a part of many martial arts.
sungminro you welcome. The finals is actually uploading right now. Should be done in an hour. And the rest on the Team Match’s of this court almost done with editing. Then I’ll complete the 16-18 boys Division (18-20 videos). Should have them all live in a few days.
i'm a second gup (Korean Kumdo) (1st Kyu Kendo) formally but I spar on black belt level. . . but i'm not allowed to do certain techniques because they say I can't lol but on Dan Level yanno
LaggyMcDougal well there’s a few factors to why he didn’t use it. One is that while going for it, there’s a good chance you’ll get hit with Katate men. Also it’s very easy to miss. I think most Dojo/Dojang won’t allow you to train Tsuki until dan rank is because of safety.
