A real Jarly child would be one that they could raise together, like they wanted to do with Michael. If the writers did anything else, I think that it would be heartbreaking. Jason wouldn’t be denied a chance to raise a Jarly child, like he was/is with Liason and JaSam.
I think if the writers can get back to the kidnapping plot from 2021, with Jason rescuing Carly, we just might get the wedding night that Sonny interrupted.
@@redpia215 - the one where Jason kisses the top of Carly’s head and says “I’ll always find you”? It’s like the writers know what a gold mine the Jarly wedding night would be and they’re afraid of it.
@@kaitykaity No. There was a setup to Carly being kidnapped by the mob guy who wrecked Jason’s bachelor party in 2021. Jason was supposed to rescue Carly and Jarly’s passion was supposed to overwhelm them to the point of something happening. Steve left, so that never happened. With Carly Spencer sticking her nose into Pikeman and Valentin being a Cassadine, Carly can easily be kidnapped and held hostage to set a trap for Jason. We just need Jason to rescue her instead of Jagger.
@@redpia215 - I have zero memory of any of that. Once they broke my Jarly heart again, I kind of wandered away for a while. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind Carly hooking up with Cates. That guy is a long, cool drink of water. Just casual, nothing serious, maybe just to get Jason to plant his flag and declare that Carly is his woman, dammit.
@@kaitykaity The EXACT same thing happened to me. I’ve seen a couple of others post the same thing. They think that Jagger and Carly is literally just to force Jason to express his feelings and fight for Carly. It makes sense because the last time that Jason “fought” to be with Carly was when she was married to AJ. If Carson hadn’t happened, that affair would have been much worse than Jarly’s affair when Jason was with Robin.
This video reflects Carly and Jason's love story so perfectly, just a reminder Robyn was Jason's Morgan first love, and he still told her he would always choose Carly, that has been the pattern for all of Jason's relationships that followed, vise versa with Carly.
Exactly. A romance would totally screw up their friendship; which I have always enjoyed watching. It is Love in the truest sense. A “once in a lifetime” relationship.
This was the best friendship couple in all of soap opera history. True friends who would do anything for each other. I don't know that I was ever comfortable with them actually being together because way back when it was Sarah Joy Brown who was with Steve Burton. 15 years of them playing friends and not even a kiss that must have been weird for them as actors. Now we have the new return so we'll see!!
