Why is it that since the beginning of time there has always been a few obsessed with getting the power to control the many? Such is the central question of The East, a deeply probing work of historical fiction that tells the story of Germany's profound loss of innocence during World War II.
How much? For a few leaves of lettuce and pepper? When you learn the ingredients of Ceaser's salad, you get disappointed because it's so simple and cheap.
Ive had this Caesar salad in Mexico just the way this man prepared it and loved it. My only complaint with this one is that I like large pieces of shaved Parmesan and a little more crouton bread
love this. I consider myself a caesar salade sauce specialist (on my own account of course:-)) and I make, for years now, it exactly the way this guy does it. boost for my ego. 🤣
@@SticksForChicks A bit of a false equivalency there lol like a butcher comes out and shows you the lining all delicately and than starts grinding meat in it. What made you want to say that? humanity is trip lol wtf
@@eggheadusa Yeah, that’s such a common expression that it’s almost plebian. It just means you don’t want the details. It’s not literally about sausage. I guess humanity is losing its grip on the erudite.
Caesar himself stated in an interview that there is no Anchovi in the salad. The entire fish tase is from the Worcestershire sauce. Not sure why the original restorant is using the US version of the salad.
It took five full minutes of table-side labor to execute a salad. And then instead of reusing the mixing bowl like they would with a stainless steel unit in the kitchen, or use it after a quick rinse and wipe, that huge wooden bowl has to be meticulously cleaned by hand each time because it is used in a table-side presentation. Unless they are charging $25 for that salad, it's a loss-leader.
How to make a spiced emultion sauce in a more pretentious and slow way. I honestly don't think it can be done. Nothing wrong with what is put in it. But perhaps skipp the paddles.
There are only 3 Michelin stars that any restaurant cares about. I don’t know where your 5 stars come from. Must be some other weird rating company that no one cares about. I tend to ignore those kinds of ratings. Michelin is the only one that matters.
i'd pay 3 dollar max for this sht. dumbest food invention ever cause people charged it over 3 dollar. cabbage is so cheap , 1 egg is a cent ,other spoon flavourings might add up 2 dollar.
135$ for 5 pieces of lettuce is crazy, but that salad looks so good and the Ceasars restaurant experience and the dress at the table seems to be worth it. Although I could make that salad at home for like a couple bucks 😂
