The bump draft was fine. Next time stay right behind him and don’t signal a dive bomb. This way you can both stay on the racing line and maximize speed to catch the leader.
I think you’re right. I was thinking about having a run on him and just staying clear in case he would brake before me. If I had let up and kept the racing line I might have been able to get an undercut. It’s all about patience.
I know exactly what you mean when you say you distrust accelerating early. For me, it was a skill that I developed gradually as I made my way up to a B driver.

Hey there, thanks for the videos i always tap the thumb when i see one. It's refreshing to watch someone at about the same level as me. I don't get a lot of time on the game so you get what you see. I bounce up and down between D and C. Even got to the lofty heights of B once. Anyhow i'm turning it all about me. Keep them coming, really enjoy them
Nice, I think you race about as much as I do lol! I'm pretty casual and usually float between C and D lobbies but I just had a session solely on this track with some good drivers and some not so good but managed a quali of 14.4 with a supra and my last race put me into B DR! You've got this track pretty dialed in but need to carry a bit more speed through turn 1 (look at tire marks in track, outside inside outside) and 2 (try and stay in green, it feels like it won't work but with right timing it really does even with a tiny wall rub) and use more of the track in turn 3 (the first right hander, get good and far left on the bridge and nail brakes in green zone just at the end of it while turning in). Like your channel, prob cuz my races are pretty similar to yours. Getting bashed up by lovers and taking penalties I don't deserve! Lol, race on brother!! ✌️

Good race, you do need to use the full track limits more. I'm still learning to do that and the more I get the hang of it the better I do. I raced against some of those guys recently hahaha! Good stuff, keep at it, good to see some GT7 players aren't superhuman either 😊
I saw your points on the leader boards before this video, so I kinds knew what to expect. Did you not have chance to enter a later time slot and try again? Keep up the entertaining videos.
