Been riding for nearly 4 years. This channel is to share with you all the joy, mishaps, adventures, heartache, bullshit and maintenance involved in owning a motorcycle.
Intros and outros are tedious, a 30 second waste of life for all involved. I will never have them, so your content is not diluted. A fade in, fade out is about as far as my editing goes.
Like, comment and subscribe are three things you will never hear me say. If you like my video, I'm sure you'll hit the like button. If I piss you off, I'm sure you'll comment and if your loins burn for my next video, I'm sure you'll subscribe. I won't patronize anyone by begging for them.
Don't know if it's the 1st time it's happened was with 4 other ppl.doing Mod1 on Tuesday 1st guy parked up for Manual handling but forgot to put side stand down he got off & bike fell instant fail last guy did everything then hit cone on hazard avoidence
I've been riding motorbikes for years, and only watching this video because a mate of mine is doing his test soon. I was nervous for you, i'm glad you passed.
Do CBT, ride 6months, book A1 test, pass...no L plates, can carry a passenger, get more experience...get few lessons on bigger bike, pass A, get advanced training. Most of the cases it's a hobby thing-needs time, patience and money.
It's a good feeling.... Honestly tho I can't remember doing some of the exercises as it became 2nd nature and it went so fast.... Also the mod 2 is easy I passed with 1 minor in April 👍
The bloke on the bike needs a good hiding / he was going along like a bitch at 40 / and his remarks about that woman for doing nothing / needs to be brought to the attention of the police / he’s a tough guy against women ???
I honestly envy you brits, in a good way. Here a frustrated spaniard, flunked today a second time the A2 exam (mod1 equivalent) here in Spain. People who pass the exam here on their first time is just 20%, the rest is just repeating exams, waiting times (month after month), bureaucracy, and a constant money waste like a leaking tap. I see your Mod1 circuit, and at least I can see an application to real life, with examples like taking a long curve and avoiding an obstacle, emergency braking, etc. And the instructor explaining you every step, everything is pretty relaxed, how nice, really (no irony intended). Here in Spain, the exam takes about 1 minute total: the first (slow) circuit is around 20 seconds (extremely tight lines and cones with high bollards next to each other you can't even slightly touch) very fast acceleration and quick emergency brake in a small painted box, and the fast circuit (full of obstacles), parts where you can break and others not, has to be done in less than 25 seconds. If you make a single mistake in any of both, you're out, imagine how many people can fail in 5 minutes (8 in a row, slaughter witnessed by myself today). Nerves are so tense that a number of people fail just in the first acceleration. So, we just try to live with it and know that this is just a systematic waste of money on our spanish government and a good business model for driving schools (no wonder there are so many here), until you finally pass the exam and leave all that crap behind. Hey, good luck to anyone who will do the Mod 1 in UK!
Great video I've got my mod 1 tomorrow and getting pretty nervous.... I know I can do everything but it's on the day I suppose....doing mine in St Helens at 13:30 it's the emergency stop I worry about but the bike has abs so it can't skid I suppose.
i dont understand how he didnt notice that you pulled your clutch before your stopped on the controlled and that you never did a life saver before you made the final u turn there is suppose to me 2 lifesavers in the u turn
thank you for your video bless you u r so nervous. I feel the same when i jus watching haha my test next thursday, watching this video constantly . very hepful. THX again!
Thanks for this video, very useful video and well done. It's not so much that the tasks the DVSA instructor gives are particularly difficult, once you've ridden a big bike for abit, its just following all those overly complicated instructions under extreme pressure and nerves. And visualising those cones exactly as he wants you to. I was 16 in 2006, I did my CBT and had several learner legal bikes over the years and I did the bike theory in 2008 and I aced it, I should of done my practical before all this ridiculous module 1 and 2 stuff came in. But I got my car license and stuck with a car instead. Then did a CBT again in 2015 and had a 125 as a toy. Rented bikes afew times abroad, I'm a pretty confident and capable rider. Now at 33 I want to actually get a Ducati like I have always dreamed of, and I realise they are gonna be just be things you see in museums after 2030. But I've got to start all over again, there's no way I'm paying the £850+ for a direct access package. I'm gonna just have to do it step by step and figure out the cheapest way.
Wtf is your problem he overtook you legally, mind your own business next time, raging people that don’t like been overtaken but drive like they are on their death beds haha
Just done mine today practiced it loads smashed it every time on the day today.... examiner is being examined so had a few people in there with me and threw me right off messed up straight away on bloody slalom ffs how was that even possible
l just failed by not doing the observations just before the u-turn. The skills l find easy but you must do the obs. Too much concentration and nerves, rebooked for Jan. No big deal so keep smiling. l will watch this vid a few times coming up to my test. Cheers fae the Highlands.
When you take this, let the examiner see you constantly turning your head from left to right,(life savers, constantly) or you'll fail. And bang on every speed limit, not one or two mph below, fail. Whilst constantly turning your head, also keep the needle of your speedo bang on the limit. If you can,try and look at the road ahead,as well.
I failed my MOD1 today, at this same place. I followed the emergency stop you did and the instructor immediately told me to exit the place and said I had failed for not stopping quick enough, he said I should have stopped at the next set of cones after the speed trap... my stopping was "pitiful". Next open slot is in December.
Well done, none my practice test today.. was actually easy… but figure 8 part.. we only had two blue cones…. So took me a few goes to get the hang of it…
