I work in video games creating characters, I'm making a dream catcher so I am studying how it's made to make it in an artistic version, I was looking exactly for this shape but yt didn't show me something similar, I closed it and opened again and this was the first video of the home page
I found that if I google “crochet mandalas” it will list dozens of patterns. The size can be adjusted to suit different hoop sizes. RU-vid even have a number of interesting ones. They are basically a crocheted floor rug that was meant to use up odds and ends. But they can easily be adapted for dreamcatchers. Happy hunting, happy crocheting.
I've been attempting a small one for days and watching your videos sometimes you take the string and go up and another video you go up and then down zig zag. My hole in the middle comes out on the side. I don't know what I'm doing that's so different plus the web starts becoming wide diamonds after the 2nd row.
Okay, this is cool but I'm super disappointed. I want to make the mandala by hand..I figured it wasn't a tutorial for all that but, I was hopeful. Very pretty though and thanks for sharing. I'm moving on now though.
