Upgrade the ram to dual-channel (second ddr4 3200 ram) and the gaming performance should be much better. Edit: Now I have tested my Mini PC WO4 (from Trycoo, but it's identical to Peladn) and increased the gaming performance by over 100%. Here's a guide how to do it: 1) Upgrade to dual-channel with a second memory module -> +50% Performance Boost ingame * 2) Inside the BIOS go to Advanced > NBIO Common Options > SMU Common Options > System Configurations and set the power limit to "54W ..." -> more power for the CPU/iGPU 3) Inside the BIOS go to Advanced > NBIO Common Options > GFX Configurations > iGPU Config and set it to "UMA_GAME_OPTIMIZED" -> +50% Performance Boost ingame That's it. At stock I had 13-14 FPS in a game, after these changes now I get 28-30 FPS and the game is actually playable. (Tested with "Endzone - A World Apart") * Try to get a dual ranked module. Dual ranked modules are faster and the Peladn one is also dual ranked. If you do not get a dual ranked module, use the Peladn one in the lower socket, because that's channel A and it worked best for me. ** Do NOT try to overclock the RAM. I tried it, but it resulted in severe graphical artifacts and/or instant system crashes.
use this android till pixel 10 launches next year.because from 10 onwards tsmc is the guy who makes chip for pixel like apple,so i think pixel will beat apple from there bcz pixel already is high with ai,once they win in chip too,it will be badass.and android is freedom bro
I have used android for a long time. I enjoy the refined and polished finish the IOS have on the 15 pro. It’s also nice apps don’t just stop working. I appreciate the IOS. Not the price😂. I know android will get there, my S23 is great but still need improvements. Maybe it’s tough as there’s the google play store and galaxy store😅
9:55 in iPhones refresh rate is also adaptive (adaptive means that when you don't use the screen (don't touch it and nothing moves on screen) it changes the refresh rate to a lower one but as soon as you start using it it goes back to 120 hz)
I've had my pixel 8 Pro since it dropped. And Pixels only get better with time. I use it as my side piece and my Daily driver is my Samsung S24 Plus. You are going to love what the pixel offers. Especially the call features. I never get a solicitor call. I've always been team Android but the more I've gotten into tech I've wanted to see what Apple and iOS had to offer.so last year I purchased a iPhone 14 Plus. And actually put my main phone number on it and I really tried to use it but I couldn't. They basically do the same thing but the lack of customization drove me crazy and all the work arounds that I had to do just to get custom ring tones and notification tones was way too much.plus the way Apple Nickel and dime you to death for everything is very annoying. And the worst of all no universal back gesture. I would have settled for the 3 buttons on the bottom. Anyway I ended up going back after about 90 day's. iOS 18 have changed a lot of things that you can do on an iPhone. I have been using the beta since it dropped. And it's definitely gotten a lot better. So now using my iPhone 14 Plus isn't that bad. I keep it for family purposes. Thanks for the video Lil Brotha. Keep up the good work. You'll get basically the same experience on the Pixel 8 pro but a bigger better Screen and a better camera.
This doesn't make sense switching from iphone to a google pixel it would have been far better experience if you switch to s24 because google ain't no making good android device only selling in the name of software.
The Google Pixel 8A wouldn't be my first choice for someone coming from an iPhone. The Google Pixel 8 seems so much better, and the Google Pixel 8 Pro even more so than both.
If u want to set the refresh rate to max, then first settings-about phone-build number(tap multiple time until it shows develepor mode). Then settings-system-developer options-under debugging title find 'force peak refresh rate' and toggle it on. Now you will have max refresh rate
@@HabeebNG 🤣I am just a techie ya know. I just love exploring both android and iOS in my free time and when I switched from an iPhone 6s to a pixel 8,I just kinda digged into android and got to know about these
You don't want the refresh rate to always be at 120hz because that would destroy your battery. It is adaptive when it is needed. So when you are scrolling on your phone it is automatically set to 120hz. When you are watching a 30fps video on RU-vid, it goes to 30hz automatically. iPhone does the same thing.
The better Pixel, to correctly compare it to an 15 Pro should be an Pixel 8 Pro, but, 8a, for the money, it's a really good phone. In the last 3 years, Android got really better, and you can have now for like 300-400$ a good phone with really small difference to an high end one. I switched from Android to iPhone one month ago, after 14 years of Android, and I must say that iPhones are good, but the Androids are as good as the iPhones, it's just a matter of small things and looks that you will need to consider what you will use, but at the end of the day all of them are just phones, and almost all are really good. The main difference between an Pixel and an iPhone from my little perspective is the camera, the iPhone camera it's solid but the software of the Pixel it's much better for my taste.
To me, the only difference I’ve noticed so far is the operating system. I think iOS is just easier to use a quick to access things. Android is for people that just like playing around with things with moving straight to the point. Other than that, the performance and looks of android is actually impressive.
