My dad had a Ford zephyr and my mum and her sister managed to crash it into a wall with all the kids inside it I remember those leather seats in pale blue and us tumbling around in the back neither my mum or my aunty had driving licences yes they ended up in court but got off I think because they were so good looking my mum was the spitting image of a young liz taylor
I have always liked the '61 Ambassador, though critics have called it the "shovelnose." Compared to the mainstream cars of the time, this model is remarkable for its roominess in a well-proportioned package and well equipped. It's a shame AMC did not survive.
