Even though this video is several years old, I just want to say thank you for posting it. I am a Cricut person, making tee shirts, stickers, hats,etc. I just started making cards with die’s and stamps, and now I’m attempting scrapbooking because I have a brand new granddaughter. I am making a baby book for mom and dad for Christmas. This video gave me some great ideas for layouts. I did a little scrapbooking back in the 90’s with Creative Memories, but never kept it up. Thank again and I’m sure I’ll be binging your channel!
I just loved watching you go through everything that your brought in for this layout. Love the touch of black with the coral. Such a cute and fun layout.
Wow...I got in right at 11:01 (Pacific time). I quickly filled my cart with all the things I wanted, especially the flip flaps and new ink pads. I went back to pick up one more item, when I came back to my cart, the 4x6 flip flaps and all of the new inks were gone from my cart...😑 I thought once items were in my cart, they were mine but sadly not. I did get the Secret Garden scrapbook workshop, so happy for that.
Thank you so much for this informative video. I stayed up for the 2am release and tried to get what I could. You were right about things going fast. I was wondering if you knew of another way to get the ink pads? Sadly, I got none of them, they disappeared right from the cart in the middle of checking out! That was like a Black Friday in person kind of night lol.
I heard that they may not have gotten all their supply in time for the release so if it’s showing on the website but says unavailable, there is more on the way. If it is no longer showing on the website, then it is gone for good.
@@JaymaMalme Ok, thank you, I was wondering about that. At first they said unavailable but now they are no longer there. So I guess they are gone. I will look for aftermarket just in case. I am really looking forward to when Stampin' Up starts using the magnetic ink pads. Thanks again for the info.

The two sets I really wanted Capture the Adventure stamp set and Road Trip stamp and thin cuts are currently unavailable.🤣🤣Does that mean they might get some back? I’m really not sure. The CTMH ones are while supplies last but I’m not sure what quantities are like. They will be ongoing but will eventually be Stampin’ Up branded. They are hoping to keep them the same but depends on vendors and if they can supply the quantities that SU would need to order.
I love the Home stamp set, I have collected those from CTMH over the years, they are unique stamps that a lot of other companies don't make and they can be used for many scrapbook pages that are just regular days. I love many of the stamps, Capture the Moments, Road Trip...great for scrapbooking. I also collect a lot of cute animal stamps and so I love the Flower Cuddles. I may get just the Gnomes thin cut. I have the autumn and spring one. I didn't get the winter one since I live in California and never see winter!! We go to the mountains only occasionally.
I also love that travel stamp and die set - I think that one is going to go FAST! I’m also obsessed with the flower cuddles stamp. I’m honestly not sure how I would use it but I think I need them 😂
I'm fairly new to scrapbooking and looking to get some page protectors for post bound album. Can someone recommend page protectors for post bound system please? I was looking to get Pionner brand but read that they don't truly fit 12x12

A beautiful page. I love how you think and gather your ingredients together before you put it together. It’s quite amazing to see how one picture can be enhanced by the layout of your paper and embellishments. Nicely done.
Yes, you can crop it to landscape but it would crop the top and bottom so your original would have to be able to account for that. On an iphone, you’d tap edit, then crop at the bottom. Then once in the crop menu, at the top right you’ll see a box that looks like it has boxes in it. Tap that. Then at bottom you can change to landscape or also crop to various aspect ratios.
Turned out great! I love my embellishment binders too! Not only do they help remind me what I have, but also helps with storage/organizational issues I had.
Your camera view doesn’t really show your color contrasts very well! Fortunately I have a good imagination! I like that you stamped the lace pattern on separate paper to determine its placement. Great idea!
I love the design of this page. I have some old red brick paper that always seems too overwhelming to use, so I like the look of the smaller strip you've used. When I started scrapbooking years ago I often made single photo layouts. Now I struggle with knowing what to do with all that extra space. 😊
yes, the peach scalloped border & flowers definitely softened it up & gave it some contrasting colour which is something it definitely needed!! Lovely page & I like the whimsical effect of the dragon flies.

Thank you so much! I’m so glad you like it and feel less intimidated by the sketch now!! The font is actually just a system font on my phone called Merlot. I typed it out and added an offset.
