Ugh, case/bracelet thing is kinda ugly while blue face is really nice. Tho' I agree very much on a day of week window - it's not needed here, day of month is enough. Also looked at Wwoor variant - while SS case is nice I'd likely prefer polished more. Maybe I'd get used to brushed. Color selection is limited, though. Can anyone comment on bracelet/case spacing on Wwoor? Anyway, currently Wwoor is eur45 and chance to get tax hit. That makes Wwoor rather close to ~eur70 Casio with SS case and no questions how CCP spends part of money I leave on AX.
UPD: You have reviewed it, thanks! Retracting my question)) ----------------------------------------- Have you reviewed or considered Skmei 9288? Round face with hands, no digital display, analogue Day/Date window. Bracelet seems to be nicer than on 2120 though one can't use strap because of design of lugs which are shaped for narrow link of bracelet. Watch is heavier at 117g. Looks very nice in my opinion. Would be interesting to hear yours.edit: Interesting that Skmei lists case as of SS while AX as zinc alloy. Go figure....I thought AX sellers just pull those pictures from Skmei site.
In my experience, on AX site you have to read all possible specs that are listed for the watch or other item. That's funny, but sometimes specs in the pictures are different or even contradict text statements. Even the sellers sometimes do not know the exact true details.
@@mdjunait3563 You see where I was going with this. For years Skmey used cheap but reliable Japanese analogue movements, now they only use cheap Chinese movements. The incentive to buy their products, as far as I am concerned, is getting lower and lower.
Saludos
I guess it's cheaper to make movement slightly less accurate, more power hungry and still lots of people are OK with this and are buying. I have thought maybe Skmei and Casio even have agreed Skmei isn't upping their precision and Casio continues to provide Skmei free designs and they both have their own segments of buyers 🙂
I have the square Skmei 1220 with almost identical functionality. That, as this, is a very good looking dress piece. The 1220 also came on a similar awful bracelet. I found a solid link steel bracelet on AliX for $4 - marketed for Samsung smart watch, but standard 20 mm. As you show, this round one looks very good on leather too.

True, these links are pretty bad actualy. Now preparing the Skmei 2120 review, it's also with the same type bracelet, it's hard to remove and then put back the links.
Actually you can unlock 'Timer' (with auto repeater) and '5 Alarms' functions on Casio W96 ( just like on W800 and A178, all three have the same module)
After watching your video, I have impression 2127 is a watch for a big person with massive hands (also bracelet is in harmony with huge digits and big weight). 1882's display looks a bit hard to read - digits are a bit too close and lines would benefit from some clearance. 2146 seems like a sweet spot esp. considering price, though 171W has very nice styling of face esp. line around display rounded on sides and longer battery life.
There's something magical in golden display. Black digits stand out well on it and display is contrasting nicely to black case. You keep classic black case and strap and have a nice color accent without adding colored plastic.
I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the AMZWATCH we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake
Hi. You can't replace the battery or charge it; the watch was designed in this awkward way. The review explains this, so just follow it. By the way, Skmei has now released a newer version with a case back that can be opened, which is also shown in the review. Hallo.
The lack of branding for me it's often a plus. For any other part of people's outfit, no branding is perfectly fine, even more elegant... And I certainly prefer having no branding at all than having an ugly logo, or a very generic name written with a very generic font (unfortunately, this is the case with many Chinese firms)
Yes, you are right. Sometimes a logo ruins the dial. It's fine not to have any branding on the dial, especially for a military-style watch. However, it could at least be on the case back, like clothes have an inner label with the manufacturer, composition, and washing information. Otherwise, all it takes for a brand is to print a card with their name and call it their brand.
I have the three hand nh35 green waffle dial version and share similar experience..the second hand counter balance resembles the hour hand making time reading at a glance difficult..bracelet finishing could definetely be better..at first I was glad that the halflinks are included but than realized they can not be removed because they are sized different compared to normal links..but was lucky to get a good fit non the less..what I like the most is the 37mm size which prx does not offer.. for a small to medium sized wrist it is spot on because it wears bigger due to specific case shape.. Anyway, how do you feel regarding the gmt complication? I personally don't like having the additional hand cluttering the dial that I have not much use for..that being said, I don't use chronographs also but like them much more😅
Two sides. It's fun to play with and have an additional complication. On the other, more practical side, time readability becomes harder, and for me, there’s no real practical benefit since I don’t travel much. For everyday wear, I would choose a version without the GMT complication.
Invicta watches have garnered some controversial opinions online, especially regarding their larger models. However, the diver-style automatic models typically use the reliable Seiko NH35 movements. The finishing level is quite good, especially considering the price point. Overall, they offer solid value for the money. Maybe will get one for a review
