This guy has never struck me as a coach but more of a yes man and a fanboy. Also McGregors strength his entire career was his striking, which kabanagh cannot do. He literally struck gold with McGregor. It was pretty telling when he was saying he was in awe of coaches like mark henry and the rest, he feels inferior to legit coaches because he has imposter syndrome knowing he’s not produced anything.
No one underestimates conor's ability to get back to his feet. It's how quickly he can get back to his feet when he's gassed. He pretty much can't once he's gassed.
John always says Conor is better then ever. lol. Chad took the fight at short notice. He got tired but in round one he had Conor on the ground. If he had a full camp he prob would have beaten Conor and expose his lack of ground game. Chandler isn't Chad. He has a full camp and will know what to do. Also this is 170 Conor. Who gets tried after 1 round.
He's right about amateur mma. My son does it and there's such respect and honour. It's tuff but safe at the same time. It's helped him through a difficult time and helped him develop some confidence.
Imagine being this coach and watching conor blossom into a huge star and being there through conor’s uprise.. It would be so hard to continue coaching after that. He will never get another conor and will never experience anything like that again..Would kinda suck other ufc coaches have multiple guys that are stars.
Dont listen to anything Kavanagh says. He always says this stuff and then McGregor looks flat footed, lost his snap, puts in poor performance's. He is either trying to con everyone or he is just deluded.
John is a great coach. Comments shitting on him but John and Rowdy are the same coaches Connor came up with in the beginning. And we all knew how deadly he was back then. Ofcourse there is a pattern in what John is saying before the fights. At least he is not shitting on his fighters. I feel like the recent losses have more to do with Connor himself than his team.
