Basically, go into settings and turn off the surround sound option. That's all it is. I had assumed people may watch this video on their phone and they would have sound and understand the video. The no sound issue has only happened on TV/Streaming Devices I thought so watching it on a smart phone shouldn't be a problem.
Is there anyway to remove VOD episodes from ones that have been recorded? I just switched to RU-vid TV and it's pretty good in my opinion with the exception of the DVR. They really need to rethink the entire thing from not being able to record single episodes to the DVR interface. They can do much better
I’m switching to RU-vid TV next Saturday, currently have Hulu + Live TV but it’s getting way too expensive due to Disney raising the fees constantly… another price hike is coming on 10/17, umm I’m already paying $96.50 a month for Hulu and it’s supposed to go up an additional $6 umm no thanks… I’ll gladly pay $73 for RU-vid TV instead
Unfortunately, that is not an option. I wish it was. When you record anything, or add to the library as it says, all episodes are recorded, however, they are organized to show the most recent and you will see all of the episode numbers and you can see which ones have previously been watched so it is easy to navigate.
You would need some type of streaming device attached to it if the TV is not already a smart TV where you can install apps. I use Roku on all of my TVs.
@@jonathanguzman2789 it’s weird cause it don’t have channels numbers, but you can get on the YTTV app on your phone and arrange the networks in an order that works good for you lol the NFL red zone is like an additional $10 a month. It has everything you could ask for man. YTTV is a must if you’re a big sports fan like us lol
Good video but most of our recorded programs are not listed as shown in video. Some are but other we have to do a search for. Why do some programs make you search for the recorded episodes?
This happens to me sometimes too but what I have found is in the library, look under the first 2 tabs and you should find everything. First tab is NEW FOR YOU but it may be missing stuff so go to second tab RECENTLY RECORDED and what is missing should be there. Always works for me without doing a search.
@@lookwhatifoundmediathat’s why I changed to Hulu plus Live tv because they have an awesome DVR. But their price is going up so I’m going back to RU-vid TV. If they could get their DVR to work like Hulu’s where they show in a list and you can delete shows after watching it would be perfect. I find myself searching through hundreds of recordings trying to find what I want. And some that we have watched don’t indicate we have already watched them. Frustrating.
@@lookwhatifoundmedia I tried to search on yt for solutions did everything device manager, cmd, reset nothing worked Format was excellent but now wifi drivers named Intel network adapter are missing
Two questions: When it says ABC, NBC, CBS, does it mean I can watch actual programing being aired, other than news? I pay for advertising free RU-vid. Will I have to continue to do so if I don't want advertising?
You will get actual programming on those networks. You'll have local news for your area along with all the regular tv shows and movies like you would on cable. Even though you have RU-vid Premium, it will not be part of RU-vid TV. 2 separate things.
What you have described are not premium channels but are actually separate streaming services. Yes you would have to pay extra for those. They are not part of RU-vid TV. All of those are separate subscription based services that you would have to pay for separately.
Thank you for the Information for reals. I am concerned however about the local channels...every where I have looked up information on Local Channels, says that I need to get an antenna to get the local. Is this false? Because in your video I saw "Fox News 8 at 10 AM", which sounds local to me. Was kind of wishing you would have clicked on the local news channel lol. I live in Tornado Alley so I NEED the local channels to tell me if I am about to get rolled or not.
No, this is simply an app you install on your existing device. If you have a Roku, fire stick, Apple TV, etc you would use the remote for that device. It's an app you install just like Netflix or Hulu or any other app.
All I want to add is you should try not to overload a computer or phone. I am forced into cleaning the phone and the point here is that the RU-vid TV app no longer works because it looks like it's out of memory.
Thanks for the info. Seems like a much better option to cable; especially given there is no equipment needed (Other than a app). This seems great for people who watch tons of content continually. However, I only watch TV when the US open (September) or football season comes around, then I don't watch TV again for another half year. lol! I do spend alot of time on Netflix and RU-vid for uploaded content. So, probably not the best option for me.
Thank you for this. I'm trying to help my parents get off cable (thank you, Comcast) and this seems to pretty much replace the main experience, and has a lot of sports options as well, all in one package.
This is nothing but a money grab by RU-vid. One has to pay a bit under $1000 a year to view the content. As if that weren’t enough, the many commercials that one has to watch before certain programming adds insult to injury. There is so much programming on RU-vid TV that if one only watched a small percentage of the content consistently, they would become obese from all the sitting after a few months. This is unbelievable, and I can’t believe that anyone who wasn’t a couch, potato, and and didn’t have the discretionary funds to afford it would recommend it. And don’t fall for the seven day free trial gimmick. If it was a three month free trial with plenty of notice that the trial is going to end, that would be reasonable.
Simplicity Defined on screen. Confusion defined with trying to determine the differences between the names... Roku 3, Roku 4, Roku Ultra, Roku LT, Roku 4k+. Roku Guess Which Model This Is, Roku whatever.. Also too many sticks. Basically all these companies (Amazon, etc) need to update and simplify the terminology.
Do you know if you have one account and want to watch different programs at the same time on different devices can you do that? In other words... I want to watch something in my office on my computer while my wife watches something else on the TV in the living room and the kids want to watch something else on another TV in the family room. Thoughts?
That should not be a problem at all. I often use the same account in a bedroom and living room simultaneously. The only limitation is that on the base plan you can only have 3 simultaneous streams at a time. If you upgrade to the 4K plan, you can have unlimited.
