This video is nostalgic and heartwarming for me. Roy ( the man in the blue smock) was my grandfather. I received most of my haircuts from him, my first shave too. The smell of bay rum and pinaud clubman powder bring me back to this place. I spent alot of time there as a kid. The man he was shaving at 2:30 was his son....my dad. Both of them are no longer with us and I miss them both😔 Thank you for keeping this old video up.
That was my dad's barbershop ,he passed away August 30 2015 ,a barber of 52 years . I was hoping that I could persuade you to make me two hard copies on disc for my self and my mom who is the lady beautician and lady barber in the picture,I would gladly pay for them please contact me at root2338@comcast. Thanks for the reply. I've always preffered places where I could just walk in, because I *hate* having to use the telephone, lol. There's another place super close to my house that also does Shaves, Paul's Barbershop, where I go once every few months or so. But he preffers appointments.
Awesome! Another barbershop that does shaves in Colorado Springs, and its not that far from where I live. Do you know if they take walk-ins, or do you need an appointment?
