Thank you for the excellent explanation... I have a question. I am in SAP. I do not differentiate between Freight and Landed Cost in terms of use. When do I use the first option and when do I use the second option... If you can explain each one... for example, in the case of purchasing materials from a supplier and these materials, I am the one who bears Transportation and customs expenses, not the supplier. In this case, use Freight or Landed cost

As they say, every student has their own way of learning, which is the same with the teachers, who have their own way of teaching students. They have their own way to help students understand lessons and appreciate learning more. As a fourth year student, I have met different professors with different characteristics which are similar to what you have mentioned but personally, I like "The Professor" type of teacher. I'm actually the kind of student who needs a lot of push and motivation to actually start everything and those kinds of teachers never fail to motivate me with their stories of hardships and dedication. Furthermore, I also appreciate the "Barkada" and the "Old School" type of teachers. Barkada type of teachers makes it more comfortable to learn and also easy to approach and ask whenever I have questions while the Old School type, for me, helps me retain everything more thoroughly by only listening. Thank you for this video, sir!
As an accountancy student, I have to say that those types of accounting teachers actually exist. To be honest, some of them are hated by students especially the terror ones because they tend to give students complex activities but in reality, they are just training us how to deal with difficult problems and situations. I have encountered most, if not all, types of accounting teachers that was mentioned in the video and I can say that although they have different ways of doing their jobs, I realized that they all deserved to be appreciated because each of them shares the same goal and that is to make their students understand the lesson and be the CPA they aspire to be.
I had fun watching the video! It's very relatable to accounting teachers that I've met specifically the "quiz masters" type. I admire all the 12 types but I could say that I am surprised with teachers that are "techie" because I think that they are very experienced in practice. Same with "The Professor" type, as they shown their expertise in this field. They are the ones who usually give tips or mnemonics to students in order to make the lesson easier to understand. This video makes me appreciate my teachers especially those who helped and shared their knowledge and life experiences.
I love this kind of content and I can say that all of these kinds of Accounting teachers do exist. If I had to pick one of these 12 types of accounting, "The Professor" would be my preference because I obviously want knowledgeable and skilled teachers. I prefer instructors that are professionals who excel in their field. When I hear stories about how things are done in the accounting industry, I feel inspired and challenged. These types of teachers also share recommendations regarding real-life events or circumstances in our field. On the other hand, since the majority of our instructors also work outside of the classroom, I would also like to commend the "The Multitasker" kind of teacher. They are excellent teachers and good at time management. They are able to continue with our lessons even when they are busy with their full-time jobs. Overall, this video was entertaining to watch, and I want to watch more videos like this. Thank you!
I love how Sir John describes our professors in a very casual way. I'm sure there are a lot of students like me who enjoyed this video and relate to it. CEO, Terror, the Professor, Quiz Master, Multi-Tasker, and Barkada are some of the professors that I encounter. And, if I have the opportunity to choose, I might choose the 'old school' type of professor. Maybe it's just me, but I really have an old school type of learning and reviewing too. That's why I appreciate how they write things for us to better understand the lectures.
I totally agree Sir! In fact, I’ve encountered almost all of these types of accounting professors and I could tell that their way of teaching has made an impact on my learning as a student. If you were to ask me which teaching approach is more beneficial to me, my pick would be “The Professor” and “The Quiz Masters”. I’m actually the type of learner who becomes motivated when I encounter people who will never hesitate to push me to learn extensively but in a way that is not too much. And these two are the perfect combo for me. Moreover, I liked how you highlighted that these teachers were once Accounting students too and had gone through what I am experiencing now. Your video is very accurate and entertaining. I hope to see more videos like this in the future. Have a nice day!
I agree with you sir John, na encounter ko na po some of the accounting teachers you have mentioned in the video. Kudos to all accounting professors who put their hearts in their job come rain or shine. Keep it up!
It's nice to have one of these every now and then; a video for entertainment rather than learning in which I can relate my experiences. I agree with all the 12 types of accounting teachers as I’ve met one of each. I just want to share that I do admire the Terror Accounting teachers as I am amazed with their proficiency in their subject and their way of teaching. Another type of teacher that I admire is the professor. They are the reason why I am becoming more motivated and inspired to continue on my journey and be like them or be better than them. Thank you for this video, sir. It makes me think about my accounting professors and just admire their passion for training us.
As a 4th year student in accountancy, I can say this is 100% accurate! I have met different professors with similar characteristics mentioned above! Though, my personal favorite is the Barkada, because I learned better if I am comfortable in class and with the lecturer. Added to my list of favorites is Professor. I have known so many lecturers that are brilliant and expert in their field of specialization. A holistic teacher that taught us lessons not just from books but also helpful in real life experiences. Even though there's a lot of teaching methods or different types of professors, they only have one goal, to make their students successful. And that is something I will be forever grateful for my teachers who helped me in my journey towards achieving my dreams.
Although I watched this vlog because of a requirement in one of subject, Principles and Method of Teaching Accounting. Watching these vlog makes me relate to my own accounting professors. Although its not an educational video, I still learned about different types of Accounting professors or teachers. Some types of teachers especially the CEO, the Terror, the Professor and the Quiz Master. The accuracy of the descriptions to some accounting professors that I know of makes me laugh. Their descriptions are so accurate sometimes that it made me wonder if Sir John knows them in real life. I wanna thank you for this relatable and informative video.
