The run is almost always in the shade, so the slope is mostly icy, as you can hear in the video. Additionally, it’s a very steep run, if I recall correctly, which makes it great for beginners to overcome their slope anxiety. I got my third ESF star there!
The (easy) start of the run is at the beginners area, but the green alternative downhill is often closed, (see 1:45 in this vid as well). For a beginner this is horrible steep already.
The last bit from 1:07 is definitely BLACK! we had a heart attack trying to go down there. bigger than 46% slope! bigger than 40% is black. totally wrongly marked on the map, but they couldnt or else no beginner would dare travelling to the other side.
Ummmm…very little skiing, that was bombing a run…I love skiing corduroy…but skiing requires turning, and to me that was a total waste of perfect conditions…From the shadow it seemed this skier was skiing faster than their ability…
Agree. Watched other videos from him and he seems to bomb every run with little to no actual skiing. To each their own, I guess...Shame about the footage potential tho.
Up until about 1;46 this is actually red route 4a if you look at piste map, missed half of route 9 as you went down the right side the left is black right is red and then you joined back to 9 at its half way point when you can see the blue and yellow tent and the back of the kolarski ski lift
