Did Rimmel replace their oldie Stay Matte with that powder in the blue packaging? I didn‘t shop from Rimmel for ages but Stay Matte was my holy grail like 10 years ago 😂 you‘re doing amazing with the project, Charlie!
personally i like to use my eyeshadow palettes for everything, i know I'm not supposed to because of the formula but honestly i don't really care anymore i have to much stuff i really want to use it all. at the moment I'm trying to finish this pallet from flower knows called young shepherdess from the chocolate series, i can use pretty much every shade in my routine, contouring, face highlighting, eyebrows, even blush! there's only one shade i cant find a use for lol anyways, maybe that will help you too

@WhatCharlieLoves I am such a fan that I count every update :D btw. Good to know that I am not the only one who finishes up the lightest shades in the palettes and has issues afterwards what to do with the rest, darker ones 😅
I would not worry about that dark shade in the pan. It doesn’t seem like it suits you. I don’t pan every shade anymore because I have enough eyeshadow to last me a lifetime. I simply want to get good use out of my makeup. I will pull an eyeshadow palette and focus on it for the year. I only am focusing on shades that I simply adore from the palette. I use it in conjunction with my other palettes.
I’m watching this right now because I’m realizing I have all the makeup I need! It’s all those new releases being shown on RU-vid! I need to stop watching them for a while :)
How do you like the Rimmel Kind and Free line? I haven't been able to find many products here in the US, but I'm always looking for more, good vegan drugstore makeup products.
Hey! Sorry for the late response, I really enjoy the translucent setting powder in the range especially considering it's so affordable! Perhaps I'll try out the skin tint once I've used up a couple of foundations! x
This gives me some hope for panning my Naked 2 Basics! I'm working on The Balm In The Balm Of Your Hand vol 1, an all over face palette, which is super old. I just want to hit pan on about half the palette before I retire it. I might be able to use up three shades at the most. It's definitely past it's prime but it works great for every day so I'm not sick of it yet. We'll see how I feel in a couple of months 😂
Great progress you and I have similar fair skin and it’s funny just how deep some light eyeshadows can be. I’m sure you’ll whip through the cream come spring and summer!

That‘s actually a lot of progress in only one month! I heard that UD shadows are really difficult to hit pan. But I also understand 100% that you start getting bored, I feel the same with mine - I‘m trying to pan elf Rose Water quad this year and since I get max. 2 different looks from it, it‘s quite boring. 😂 I hope that one more month I can keep it going and franken one matte and one shimmer to add something new to it 😊 take care Charlie and get better soon! ❤

I have unsubscribed from all the makeup RU-vidrs I was following and the email from Cult Beauty, Look Fantastic etc and deleted the apps. If I am not seeing the makeup as much I will be less tempted. I once watched a video on Hourglass thinking I didn't want anything from the brand. I then bought a luminous skin finish to use as a highlighter and a blusher so it's better not to watch the video in the first place. There are brands I have only become aware of because of RU-vid. An inventory of what I have might be a good idea. I have decluttered a huge amount of makeup - most of my High Street eyeshadow, a lot of nail varnish, lipstick and eyeliner. I used to have makeup storage in the attic and a lot of it was ruined by the heat up there in the summer. I called it the Girl Cave! The girl cave has been dismantled!
