Trying to setup this thermostat since yesterday... But everytime when selecting cool 22°C it is not blowing cool air. I have here a conventional forced air heat with Outdoor thermopump for AC. Which setup should I correct?
@@D2DNYAC yes exact it's the setup #218 if I'm correct... but while setuping it's never letting me access to it. anyways... I've placed a service call with the company who installed my furnace few years ago, to help me setup it... and worst case... he will install one of his own... thanks anyways : )
It's a great tool The disadvantage in my opinion is that its shape is not convenient to place in a work bag because it takes up a lot of space. And the second thing that bothered me the most. You need to clean the copper before use. If the copper is dirty it does not close a circuit because it works on conductivity.. And many times it didn't work.
Anyone have experience with CoreSense control modules ? AC unit runs, but every time AC starts the first time from a thermostat call, CoreSense trips on high current (CoreSense flashing lights error code) within a few seconds, then starts a minute later normally. Measured inrush current at about 120 amps, and manufacturers plate rating is for 114 amps, so it’s within range. Changed CoreSense module, same result. Amana condensing unit ASZ130421AG. New installation of 10 yr old stock unit.
I have the same setup as yours shows except I have a very short blue wire attached from the R and Rc right on top of each other exactly the way it is in this video. Do I need to make sure they are not touching?
@@D2DNYAC I tried shorting the RG and Y and I'm getting nothing... it has to be something with the condenser then I guess.. I have no clue about how to fix it.. unless I need to connect the G and Y to the R and Rc all together?
Really helps to use your alligator leads. Just put your alligator leads on the common and run or common and start and keep water in that thing down until it rings out.
If you have a box of any kind like that on a wall if the box is low to the ground hatch opens downwards so you can easier see Inside the box without having to get all the way down. And vice versa for the door opening upwards if it’s at or above eye level.
i found a re manufactured motor for 325.00 at united hvac motors. got it next day but its the next county over. replaced it two years ago.lightening damage most likely.
i found your video while looking how to repair blower motor internal capacitor because it was not in air handler only to learn i have an ecm motor. 300.00 for ecm controller, whole motor assembly starting at 650.00.this looks like the way to go swapping to brush motor with cap and relay.do you think the electric bill will go up much? thanks for the info.
also when i put reman 300.00 motor i did not buy the offered surge protector witch i will be adding. do you think these surge protectors work.it was a bad thunderstorm in fla when the compressor cap and blower motor failed .
As an individual user these ECM motors are more luxury than energy saving. If you were to combine 100 of them then the savings would start to make a little sense
If you leave it a little loose at the schrader valve you can wiggle it and pops out easily some times there a pain to get out when they have been there for a long time i work in super market referigeration some of those have been there for 10 years or more
