I find the regen useless,but the e-save charge is cool,but iff your in the charge mode and you reach 100% will the engine auto turn off for battery only?
From a driver's standpoint I 100% agree. However, from a family standpoint, the front seat passenger will be able to watch streaming content on a road trip without interrupting or distracting the driver, who can continue listening to the stereo. When I was a kid we had a 5" black-and-white TV attached to the ceiling of our van. It sorta did the job it was supposed to, but for obvious reasons the front seat passenger couldn't see it. So during those times when one of us kids rode in the front, we had to rely on the boring road in front of us for entertainment, as the novelty of riding shotgun wore off rather quickly on an 18-hour trip.
There is an HDMI port to the right of the USB outlets. It is below the bottom right corner of the radio screen. You can just see the top of it in the video of my first test drive of this truck. Handy that there's a 115V outlet immediately below it so you can also provide power to your Firestick.
I think I know what it is you're talking about. I noticed that the selection will "dance" back and forth while it makes the change. Did you notice the same, or did it remain in Battery Charge mode?
I'm starving to see one in person! Ours are on the way. One of them may very well be my next truck. The look of the TRX, the 0-60 of the TRX, without the abysmal fuel economy of the TRX? Sign me up.
So with the max regeneration, you are probably not using your brakes much because the car is already doing most of the work for you….hmm that might be savings. Not sure yet
This is true. For regular driving it will save greatly on your brakes. I have to say that Max Regeneration does not replace your participation in emergency braking situations.

The overland has Selectable ride Height as well as "Rock Crawl Mode." It may have more Chrome, but it also has Selectable Options depending on Terrain. I don't think the Trailhawk has an option to raise or lower suspension by 4in at a whim? Also, do they both come with Steel Plating that covers the undercarriage?
You’ve got the valves closed so only the initial startup sounded proper. The valves can’t close without pressure so the 392 always gets a beautiful startup. But the truck remembers if you opt for valves open so you can truly enjoy its glory.
Frames aren't designed to keep all four wheels on the ground. Suspension is. Ford believed that a flexible frame allows for more tolerance and is less likely to break. Interestingly, they switched to box frames like everybody else.
Funny you mention this. Three years after I posted this video the Super Duty trucks came out with a fully boxed frame so they wouldn't twist like this anymore.
I know for a fact that the ford frame back then was designed to twist and flex like that. I mean who opens the tailgate at full flex, not even a jeeper does that. dumb test.
man i got tha overland 5.7 with tha luxury interior with tha hemi engine that im going to rebuild and mod mannnn overland is top tier. i hate the interior or tha srt and tracchawk i wanted luxury and muscle and u get it with tha overland
This is kind of a dumb comparison. 1 the ford flexed more which is better when dealing with big ass holes. 2 these are 1 ton dulleys so where exactly are you going to be trying to drive these things with big ass holes anyway 🤦♂️😂
If it's so dumb, why did Ford go to a fully boxed frame in their Super Duty trucks in 2017? Now their frames won't twist like the one in this video did.
@@TylerGrantatTroncalli ford went to a full boxed frame to make it stronger while hauling heavier loads. Not to prevent it from flexing. Just like how many dump trucks or heavy haul trucks are double framed. But like i said before a lack of flex gets you stuck easier 🤦♂️😂
