Cheers mate, they felt like they went on forever too. A nice change from the local short trails I usually ride. I used the trailforks app to find them, made it simple. We went to the Golfie too, they'll be a video or maybe 2 from there. Would love to do another trip to Scotland, there's a few places to tick off the list up there, Fort William is definitely one of them.

🤣🤣🤣 I lost him for a good while, eventually found him at the bottom of the hill where he told me he'd had a big OTB. Really enjoyed it there, just a little confusing sometimes as too what trail I was on lol. What a place Scotland is!! Just editing the others now, making me wanna go straight back 😁
It was brilliant perfect amount of travel for the trails I did. You have to use the uplift at Dyfi as there is no specific e bike climb to the top. Cheers 👍
@@OfftheTopMTB great stuff man. I'm riding an e+2 and would hope to get to dyfi one day. Bet the Reign got a bit heavy lifting it on and off the trailer by the end of the day!!
@philtoft3863 haha yea to be fair it was horrible by the end of the day 🤣 the uplift team are awesome there though and they helped me out a few times to be fair. How do you find the e+2 ?
@@OfftheTopMTB I find the E+2 perfect for me, at the local trail centre all the good trails are very far apart, also got a great deal on it from my lbs. I've only had it a few months but it's mega so far!
I think there is some trails fine for the average Joe but not many. Suppose it depends on how comfy you are on the steep stuff. You and Phil always do well there 🤟
I also struggle with steep right turns. In my mind i feel that turning left turns into the hillside and feels safer but when i turn right it feels like i'm looking down the hill and it feels more risky.
You ruined my theory there mate 😂. I was thinking it's a left foot forward finds left handers easier and right foot forward finds right handers easier 🤔
Taking someone with you who is a crap rider is a good way to feel good about yourself and better about your riding.let me know if you need my help😂 Seriously seemed like you were riding as fast as usual👍
Not to my knowledge matey, there all pretty easy to find though. Climb up from the ramblers retreat, you'll come across about 6 trails. Then there's loads near Hawksmoor too.
@steveebbrell1843 you can do, I go to the right of the river, through a metal gate up the footpath and it just goes all the way to the top, the trails are a bit harder to see at the minute with all the greenery about

Yea I think I know where you mean, the trails up from the ramblers retreat come out on the road opposite the old train line, think there's a cricket club close by too
considering you said you lacked confidence, i thought you rode very well 👏 those trails did not look easy at all! no harm in showing the trees some love too 😉
Cheers mate, I don't know what's wrong with me lately, seem to have lost my bottle a bit. To be honest after watching the footage back it didn't look as bad as it felt. Haha I'm glad that tree was there for me to hug, stopped me going for a big tumble 😂
i think the intros/outros are good to be honest, good to hear whats happening and what the videos is gonna be about followed by review of the ride at the end. shocks are easy to just mess about with all the time and never feel right 😅 iv just set mine now to advised weight and left them which has seemed to work. i will have to go through all this again tho when i switch over to a coil on the rear. my mates dropper is a bit buggered at the moment, its funny when behind and you can just see him jumping up and down on it to work 🤣 good to see most getting out in the good weather, iv been trapped indoors on my arse with bloody covid 🤢 cant wait to get out! great riding as always dude and look forward to the next one 🤟

HaHa yea that's exactly what I was doing , riding along the trail bouncing on the saddle and shouting at the bike 😂....Shame to hear you've got covid, hopefully you'll recover soon and be back out sending it !!🤟🤟
yes its pretty tame but you just gotta run it faster, make it as hard as you want, go slow its easy even the blacks, do it at "race pace" its soooo good, and the fact you can get 20 odd runs in a day makes it outstanding value for money, and lets not forget the cafe boss scran on offer, still tame though but you make it what you want it to be
Great riding dude! I'm a very average biker and rode Dyfi for the first time last weekend and BPW. Definitely agree it's a huge step up (excuse the pun!) but felt more confident as the day went on... really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back
@@OfftheTopMTB I’m looking at using the cycle to work scheme to get an eMTB for trail riding but the best I can get with the money they offer is something like a cube stereo 140, is there any bikes you’d recommend that sit around 3k to comfortably do this kind of trail riding?
@@chrisdobbo8938 to be honest anything with 150mm travel or above will be fine for most places. The trails in this video, you could get away with even lower than that. Not sure what bike you can get for 3k to be honest, maybe a haibike or just a lower specced Giant/spesh/canyon
