Sandy, first of all love your videos man! Second, I’m in a bit of a pickle. Choosing between the heritage classic and a street glide, or possibly the lowrider line s or st. Could you help with this decision? Wanting something for both commuting back and forth to work (cause I love to ride) and also for longer rides/trips with the lady.
For the longer rides with lady- the touring bike . For every day use - the heritage. For cool factor and bad ass feeling - the low riders. I suggest get an appointment at your dealership to ride all 3 back to back . After that experience- you’ll make your best decision
I'm sure it's a great air breather. However the design is just too old school for me. I needed something more modern. Got a Rough Crafts Finned Air Cleaner. Well and a tuner at this point.
I agree - I would have loved if it would be 1-2 inch deeper ! I think that if someone develops a bracket that is slightly deeper it will be a hot seller! Just remember that it will limit the access to the adjustment bolts !
I was most afraid of the bolt behind the primary. That was the quarter inch allen wrench! Thank you so much for telling me the size! I almost used the wrong size. Thank you so much for this video!!!!!
Sawicki Speed sounds great and performs excellently. Check out video, Just Ride, dude is running Sawicki and 475, explosive. I'm running 30/30 and waiting on Sawicki medium length.Your bike is awesome, mine is '22 black. You'll torch the dresser unless it's really hot. Wind resistance and weight kill them. My '92 Electric Glide is slated for some torquey cubic inches this winter. Ride safe 👋💀👍
I just bought a 2023 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic. Spent $22,000, never thought I would spend so much on a motorcycle! It’s extremely comfortable with excellent handling and has unbelievable torque!! Love it!!! Thanks for the review good job!!
Just used your video for reference when I installed these floor boards. Thank you for making it! And regarding the price, I live in Sweden and these cost me almost 500 bucks in 2024.07.08 including Fedex.
I Have done 7ea S.S.1000 on Ultra Classic, FJR and a KTM and 1 bun burner on the FJR. 3 days after I reitred I did a Bun Burner Gold. I did 1577 miles in 21hrs & 39 minutes on KTM1290. My KTM has an 8 Gallon tank I can get 325 miles out of a tank. I stopped every 275 miles so I only needed 6 stops. I had a plan for every stop with a back up gas stations just in case. To prepare after I layed out my route with every stop. I did mental imaging of my ride stop by stop in my head during the winter months once a week. this way when i did it for real it would seem easy and it did. I have rode this route many times in the past so I knew how long it should take to get to certain areas. I have attempted the B.B. gold 4 times I had to abort 3 times do to either severe weather, construction or traffic with accidents. I am now planning on doing the IBA 48/10 laying out the route for next spring. They riders who do the IBA rally are road warriors
I have the 120th anniversary and I can’t believe how much i love this bike. My ultra classic and custom chopper must be feeling neglected! Just easy, comfy, nimble and fast
Riding down thru Baltimore-Washington can get ya turned around & Never get on a DC Exit ,,,, you can end up losing everything you rode in with, including your life? I know b/c I lived in the DC Metro area for 12 yrs(Northern Va.). If I took a trip down the eastern seaboard I know I'd be planning how to hit each larger city outside their rush hours..... hard to do if you've got to get 1,000 miles in 24 hours but planning around rush hour commuters makes any trip better. IronButt is a new concept for me! Just heard of it. peace, be safe out there !
I own a 2020 Heritage Classic and a 2018 Road King. I ride the Heritage for everyday use, probably less than 200 mile rides, and the Road King for rides longer than a couple hundred miles. And while I'm delighted to have both bikes, I'd have no problem at all if the Heritage were my only bike. Super comfortable, easy to handle, ergonomic and stylish. I will ALWAYS have one in my garage. Great review and thanks for posting.
1. It's not that boring. Load more songs on your playlist. You're always thinking, planning, watching and stopping regularly for gas. You suck a lot of gas at 80 miles an hour 2. It doesn't have to be painful. There are cushions, different positions, different bikes, different seats. Yeah it's a bit sore but not extreme. Use cruise control 3. It doesn't have to be dangerous. Get on an interstate and stay on the interstate. Then you don't have traffic, lights or people crossing or entering traffic at right angles Do it in June when there's lots of daylight in America. You never have to ride in the dark. It can be done in 15 to 16 hours 4. Yeah it's a bit of an ego boost. But use your head use common sense driving the daylight stay on the interstate. If you think it's all about ego then check yourself and don't do it. 5. Goldwing is a good choice. You don't have to leave at 3:00 in the morning. Do it in June, July. leave at 5 :00 don't stop for lunch 8 or 9- 7 to 10 minute breaks. You can be in bed by 11:00 at night 6. I do mine in the western us. Maybe the traffic is a little less and the space is more open
Being a veteran I take the time to pay my respect for our vets that sacrificed and paid the ultimate price. Your beginning statement rang true thank you for saying this.
Great video. Thanks for sharing about your history and service as a pilot. Just getting to know your channel. I lived in NJ for over 50 years right between New Brunswick and Princeton. Retired in 2021 from a police department and we moved to Tennessee. Great riding in the south. I enjoy your channel. Keep up the good content.
I had a 2018 Roadglide special and then a 2022 Roadglide ST. Less than a year ago I traded my ST for a Heritage Softail. I love the bike but it isn’t quite the Touring bike. I’m going to try and stick with it. It’s a great bike. Did you have any regrets going from a touring bike to a Softail?
Bought a 2018 heritage classic 114 a couple months ago and i absolutely love it. Love it on the freeway, love riding it downtown. Absolutely great bike!
I wish people when making these videos, they would tell us how tall they are and recommend what they think if you're taller or shorter what one should do. I am 6' 6" and I want to know how forward controls would be on this bike (before I buy the bike).
You could just buy a HD trans top cover for a 23 CVO 121 VVT...... But Trask is good.... Also you could use a 3/8 bulkhead fitting in your stock cover and install a power break check valve in the vent line... Options here
Yup…. He sure did… for an extra 2 bills you get the real thing… lp6 is king. I enjoyed watching him build this thing until he took it too far with 8 lights in the the front lol. Too much going on at this point😂
@@LRST813 Did he say the getting pulled over stuff for a non dot headlight? 🤣 Just saying that because the guys who got it free mention that kind of stuff. I've never watched the dude. I just looked at the thumbnail and already knew what he was going to say. Exactly! Get the real deal not this knock off that's no better than stock.
