Nice one :-) My brother has a flat over there and he spends the summer months over there. I don't think I could handle that heat full time lol @@leedennett3036
@gmanelliott oh ok , Where's his flat? , I have a friend who lives in a village called Kalithies, which is the area where we're moving to, we was there in during the fires last year when the temperature never dropped below 40 and I admit it was bloody oppresive
@@leedennett3036 Ohh the hot side of the island!! When we were there in September it was like that. Nearly bloody killed me lol His flat is Rhodes Town near the Diagoras Stadium. Kalithes looks very nice :-)
nice job camera man...my first festival at sweet 18...somewhere near the front popping up and down and getting plesently squashed....long before moblie phones selfies and all the rest...cool upload!
cracking line up for this festival. An era of music that was sadly passed over in the wake of the over hyped britpop. I was 24 at this festivaal and having the time of my life. Seemed to remember that it was pissing down when the pogues were on !!!!
I met them backstage that day, me and Al got out pints mixed up and I ended up drinking his which had an acid tab in it. I met him again a few months later, explained what happened, he was wondering why he went to bed sober. 🤪
I was there, also my first festival. Fool that I am, I thought that all festivals would have similarly good lineups. In no particular order, just the bands I liked.. Wedding Present, New Order, Spacemen 3, My Bloody Valentine, The Mission, PWEI, Dinosaur Jr, Jesus Jones, House of Love, That Petrol Emotion, Sugarcubes, Wonderstuff. Think we went into town rather than watch Saturday night - Billy Bragg, New Model Army and the Pogues, Wish we'd stayed, but we were snobby indie kids !
obviously not the year they got mud bombed off, was hilarious when the singer called on all their fans to hit the next person that threw a mud bomb, cue 5000 mud bombs hitting the stage :), never wear a white jump suit at a muddy festival :)
