"I came naked out of my mother's womb, and i shall depart naked from this world." Jesus is my only hope. HE has all that I need in heaven in His very presence 🙏. Put your trust and faith in Jesus, and you will have a secure place in heaven when you pass away. My body will return to dust, but my soul shall return to God Almighty 🙏.
God, The heart, the love, Mercy upon us He gives freely. We must learn to recognize blessings, the receipt and giving of them. A Blessing this read gives and gives this moment albeit Tolstoy is not with us physically but for certain, the Holy Spirit lives eternally. All the Glory to God - gifted the Fruits of the Spirit. Amen
This has an ambiguous ending. I'm not sure exactly what I am supposed to take from it. There are things I got from it as it went on, but I'm not sure if the ending satisfied me. I see that he'd attained such a high place within the church and yet the closeness of the people wasn't there anymore, the relationships of genuineness weren't the same. This is why I think he made the statement that maybe he should have just been a deacon or just a monk. Maybe I'll have to listen to it another time.
Am I the only one who notices that at some point during each story, there is a loud, strange cut in, or cut out sound? Usually a loud voice…. 😹 like, a piece of a word…. This is the “bite sized audiobook” guy…. So, I’m supposing he sold his inflection to ai services. Interesting.
I've listened to a number of these short stories, multiple times, mostly because of the way they make me feel, especially the music that bookends each selection. It all feels very elegant and sophisticated without seeming snobbish. Are the readers AI? To me, they seem human, but it just seems like such an undertaking to achieve such consistent beauty. It's fine if you'd prefer not to say. I would love to listen to more of the music, especially the segments from Fitzgerald selections. Thanks!
Chris? Probably because it's related to Christ. PKD did describe him as God like. He really did like to point out our ambiguous moral values, and push boundaries. Now if it was me, I would just have called him Oscar. Thanks for uploading.
To think back over the history of mankind is overwhelming. War has always outdistanced love. To love seems to open the door to abuse. Just read the news and see how contemporary love is defined. Lord have mercy.
Good trick for getting rid of ads open the video and if you get several ads close it open it again immediately close and open again works for me 9 times out of 10.
