Vanessa & Ash--& the RocKwiz Orchestra--nail the Stones' 60s' classic!! And Keith's mighty impressed, "Hey Mick, that Aussie girl & guy got our song down, pat...!!"
Always been a fan off Mike Rudd, Jess is new to me. But what an great version of this classic song. Have watched it quite a few times... Just love it ❤🎸
They are OK together, not all of that, but it will and can work out once miss get the guitar flowing with the song. Natalie can step up her singing a bit more. Both artists can put more sincere into it or try a different partner. There are potential there, but use it within your heart.
Great team effort, sounds terrific, enjoyed. Vanessa is brilliant, I revisit her performance of Heroes Live Forever at the 2000 Olympic ceremony often, I think she was only 17 or 19?, suburb range.
Mercy!! Shame there's some pitchy woooowww in the video in a few places, but thanks all the same. Great performance by Honey, and that's Jimi Bott on drums. No disrespect to the drummers who followed, but for my money "Buzzin'" was never better than with Jimi backing Honey..
Yeah, I have a cassette with this tune on it from around that time frame. Honey and Jimi Bott are fantastic. The version on that tape was the best version of this I ever heard, though this one is pretty damn good, too.
@@rpiazza Not trying to knock anybody, of course. I saw the Mighty Flyers live many, many times, throughout the '90s, mostly (the Black Top and Tone-Cool years, a time when bands could still afford to get in two or three vehicles and tour the country, before 2001 happened!). Always a great show. Saw them with Jimi Bott and others on drums, and they never disappointed. Did not see them with Dave Kida, though. Let's just say that Jimi was my personal favorite, of all the drummers I saw with the Mighty Flyers.
@@beezzzzbuuzzzz Hi I have seen many forms of the band. I first saw them in 1995 and have since seen them 49 times. Unfortunately I spoke to Honey two months ago and they are done performing. A great highlight was seeing Jim play with the band on a blues cruise when Rod had a lot of the old band mates play with the new group.
Yes, there was a reception problem on the day, bad aerial. This concert seems to be unavailable (have tried to purchase it), so my bad video upload will have to suffice, :) Her playing is terrific....
I was so blown away by this on the night that I went and ordered Jess Cornelius' album the following Monday. Still up there with Emma Louise and Husky as the greatest Rockwiz duet for me
First saw this in '93 in the first "Blues Moon over Byron" on ABCTV - unforgettable & SO inspirational. Thought it lost forever ...thanks +++ miscellaneous2010! Must get back to my piano and practice more often.
Good question... 3 years ago i think, and what a pity this year there was no RocKwiz Christmas special... such a brilliant little program. Season's Greetings, :)
