Great video, great production. Beautiful work. Im generally familiar with the Dolls and very familiar with HBCU Band Culture, but please help educate me about Cinderella Squad. Is that just a nickname for this year’s Dolls?
I think so. The last two years, their reveals have had themes. Last year, the theme was Barbie Dolls, and this year was Cinderella, since the teaser trailer they dropped earlier in the week had the whole "can we find the girl who fits the captain's 'character heel'?"
Watching the growth of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year vets has been incredibly fulfilling as a Doll fan. However, Ms. Herbreyana has been shining in style and presence since her very first performance. I can't wait to see the hip-hop, freestyle, jazz, and technical dance skills the Dolls bring to the field this season! #Herb and #Spice Dolls
Those hugs at Bayou Classic told it all. I then said, it wouldn't surprise me if Herb is the next captain. Knowing Traci, she likes stability, and I knew she was going to be leaning towards a 2 year captain soon. Its unfortunate a class was skipped, but business is business. I'm happy they got their 4th rip. Can't wait to see those struts!
@@lala-ng7ccEven if she wanted the position, who's to say she would've got it. Nothing is guaranteed in doll land. Politics over seniority. The potential for a possible two year captain was there, so it was sought.

@@Nonchalantlyfabulous😂 stop! I do love the Divas tho. Unpopular opinion, but my fave teams in order are Dolls, Divas, Piperettes, and Stingettes, so I don’t mind Divas being in the convo, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Lol

I was rooting for Haley to be captain and was surprised they picked Herb but I'm happy for her and will be supporting them all the way. This is a strong squad based on that field performance and all the girls sre stunningly beautiful. This is going to be a great season.

@@Realitytalkjalo YES THEY CAN! I had the credentials to be a leader in jobs I had and I did not want them. So you do not have to be a leader if you do not want to. They can change the protocol (rules) if they want to. They are in charge and it keeps down confusion because personally I think it would have been a repeat of the previous years when they did not choose who the fans wanted. So it would have been some who wanted Naomi and some who wanted Haley; mind you, both are good and either would have been good. But you have to look at the dynamics of the situation and all of the criteria used to select a Captain and we do not know what it entails; all we do is look at them dance and think, oh, she should be captain or she should be captain! They know what they are doing!

Hopefully, the Joke is not on you and you are the f--l? You should not call people fools. However, let's stick together and support these young ladies. If they picked one of 21, it might not have been the one you wanted and you still would be upset. Undoubtedly, she can remember now because she is OUR LEADER! Everyone deserves a chance and I'm quite sure you have been given many!!!!!
You should go back and watch the videos . Haley didn’t want the position and Naomi was messing up way more than Herb in the stands last season . Given , that Haley didn’t want the position, this is a fine choice
There are no 4 year vets on the team. Haley and Naomi have 3years experience under their belt, which is just 1 year more than Herb. Also, all three had mess ups in their first year, and like the others, Herb cleaned that up and was damn near flawless her second year. I had no preference, and I would’ve been happy for any of these girls to be captain, but I just think it is unfair to disparage Herb in a way that is untrue just to give the others shine. They all shine. 🩰🐆💛💙
