What started in 2012 as a roleplaying game between friends has evolved into a multiplatform entertainment phenomenon with a variety of shows, including the flagship show Critical Role, comic books, graphic novels, animation, live performances, podcasts, and more. Led by veteran voice actor Matthew Mercer and composed of other well-known voice actors Ashley Johnson, Marisha Ray, Taliesin Jaffe, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Laura Bailey and Liam O'Brien; Critical Role takes the audience on an adventure through the fantasy world of Exandria.
Now, Critical Role is responsible for sharing compelling stories from a host of storytellers which includes the space western, Midst, and the chilling horror stories from a secret group of investigators known as Candela Obscura.

having fond thoughts of the game Betrayal Legacy when in the first story, as betrayers are triggered, the game says everybody gets a card that says who is the witch and who is not. The game ends when the wich is dead but it actually ends when everybody is dead but one because none of the cards said you`re the witch muahahahaha.
Well, last several episodes were great, so it was time to have a bad one. That's the theme for C3... Did not enjoy second half at all, probably worst episode since the infamous dragonborn sorcerer left...
It's kind of weird to look back and realize how Phineas beating Sherman was such an important and life altering event for so many. It might even have saved Sherman and Tzila's lives.
Overly-sassy; overly-confusing; underwhelming anti-climax of a second half- hopefully viewers don't have to endure too much more before the main story comes back. High Rollers campaign until then.
Spoiler for 2:44:50 Didnt Imogen have shield of help which gave her a plus 2 to AC (which makes it 18) and then bait and switch was plus 5 so she should have a 24 AC
Soo Saskia stays because something has to get to Weepe, Lark might turn herself in to distreact everything for Phineas to help blow up the central vault and propably die in the process. If Weepe is the only surviver in the end, I'll scream
O M FCG I'm literally crying right now. I can't believe what I just saw! This was literally one of the most HEROIC things I've ever seen in a work of fiction! Oh, my heart! Thank you, Sam! Awesome. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.
I remember when they first got the hole they were talking about putting mattresses and pillows and such in there to make it a cosy sleeping space... It's fun to see how different that turned out 😂
4:28:44 I think one of the reasons everyone is crying isn't just because FCG is doing it, but because Sam is talking also to the cast of Critical Role as well.
am i the only one who thinks calm emotions should have worked on the frost giants? like yes they are giant but they are still considered humanoid in nature x.x or is it kind of up to the DM or matt in this case how the term Humanoid is taken in the case of spells like calm emotions?
Quite a stretch, but I wonder if Predathos could be Luxon, considering Ludinus' schemes with the Kryn and their artifacts. If I remember correctly, Luxon is supposed to be older than the gods or anything alive in Exandria, also being a primordial light somewhat fits the flares, they Kryn's ideology was also about being free of the gods and the shackles they put on the mortals, not sure about time and soul-rebirth shenanigans though.
I find it hilarious how when Yasha raged it was always the most polite rage possible, but when Ashley is legitimately pissed Travis's eyes widen since 'Pool hall Ashley' has entered the room.
shipnerd here. first of all this is just me nerding about ships and naval warfare. and speculation on how the dragonturtle chase "realisticly" would go. realisticly there would be gunports stern (back) of the ship wven called chasingbstern cannons which would have helped the M9. HOWEVER im not here to give them an easy time. managing a cannon would depending on the cannon require 5 to 8 men. reloading would be done by 1 man hanging outside of the porthole being given his first rod with a spiraling metal spring type nob at he end used to scrape out any left debris or scraps. then his tool is swapped with another rod with a damp towel or sponge at the end to extinguish any possible embers or powder potentially still inside (wouldnt want it to go off while your loading it). then a packet with powder is placed in the barrel and pushed in with the 3rd and last tool a rod with just a flat cap at the end. then the cannonball also pushed in all the way. and lastly a stopper of which the material varied with time and nation. then the man gets out of the porthole and the cannon is placed in position and aimed with rope, rods and wedges. then the cannon is primed by a sharp poker that punctures the powder packets that now has exposed powder. then at last the guncaptain would add powder in the vent and the gun isnow primed and ready to be fired. thise ENTIRE process would take as base example an experienced brittish guncrew about 90 second. HOWEVER 120ft (i just looked up what that is in propper measurement) is WAAAAY too short for cannon range. as for example a cannon with the lowest range on lets say the famous hms victory would be 343 meters (375 yard)l or 1125 ft) ! as average but is capable of shooting 1.2 kilometres at 6°! (a casual 3937 ft) thats the lowered end cannons range!!! i might try to do the math but important number would be the drain turtles 40ft of swimspeed every turn aka 6 seconds which wemake 80ft cus hes probably dashing. reloading a cannon specifically a stern chase cannon, lets say a 32 pounder with a range of 366 meters (400 yard, 1200 ft) taking 90 seconds and 6 men. unsure about how accurate 8d10 damage is. probably abit low if a hull has 500 hp. ofc this is far beyond reasonable for dnd but its fun to nerd about ships
