So, Macha is just one of those eldar who appears at the most surprising times. Love the farseer but perfect, unusual time. Between her and Taldeer, they can make the galaxy better for their kin.
Alarak is just fun to watch. It’s also interesting that, while he is absolutely convinced he’s right, does seem to genuinely like hearing other perspectives. Like, they’re all wrong as far as he’s concerned, but he enjoys hearing them.
Did you check if your computer suits the game’s system requirements? Maybe you might have to turn down some of the graphics settings? Try running the game on lower graphic settings and see how you go. This game is also online only, so it might be your internet connection is slow or the game servers have slowed down. I don’t play this game anymore, so I can’t test it.
coulda just... idk... time machine abused your way to glorious soviet world, comrade? cease every enemy world leader from existing? learn their tactics, their moves, then time travel back and blindside them? comrade, this time machine is the most powerful thing known to man, more than nukes or proton cannons... but no, we just had to make a fun game, didnt we?
I feel like mission 4 is always the time were the definitive outcome is chosen. At the same time the allies could’ve been pushing the Soviets back and they Soviets be fighting off both sides whilst the Empire first began to attack Russia. Then in every campaign at mission 4, it seems like they all come together, but eventually in one based on who the player fights for.
I know this is "too little, too late" information but you should have built more "Slave Chambers" it lessens the time for the Dark Eldar's upgrades and increase the reinforcement rates of the Dark Eldar Infantry.
What I finally did was build ans much units aa possible, abandon the base, and join the reinforcements in the top left corner of the map. Then I returned.
Showed you arm it ,use it or loose it activation lazers systems space system for the spaces nukes at earth now we are really atmed with use it or loose it so we used it.
I was stuck for *months* on this map, man. In retrospect I'm glad Relic made this as challenging as it is. Many other RTS's from this time are a breeze, even on the hardest difficulty. Dawn of War and COH are still crazy difficult to me, even 20 years later. Also Jesus, Taldeer sounds so weirdly cute in this, compared to Dark Crusade.
I wanted the tanks/vehicles in front first at they were effective vs the enemy infantry and provide protection/distraction for my infantry before moving them up. My tanks/vehicles do the most damage first before my infantry finishes the enemy off and capture points. Also if the enemy has anti-tank weapons, it’s faster to retreat my vehicles instead of retreating my infantry if they have anti-infantry weapons that can pin them down.
Fun fact: This battle was featured in Enemy at the Gates movie, and the CoD 1 first Russian mission and its amazing how all three captured the same brutal energy of the battle and the fact that some of the soldiers arent even given guns
I like to imagine that in his ending speech, Crull's ambitions literally end at conquering two worlds. Poor fella's too simple to think any further ahead, bless his heart.
This is the only mission I literally had a hard time finishing. I pretty much was kinda of a perfectionist irl, and so when I just hear of my miners or my base getting attacked, I just sort of panic really hard that I fail to respond back. The strategy I instead do is to just flood the the pathways with tesla buildings amd troops enough to prevent them from reaching either my miners or base.
I remember the first time I did this mission, I wanted to hear Dehaka's unique quotes, so I was just clicking on him. When I got to him thinking he should evolve a toothbrush, Kerrigan called saying "Hey, what the hell is the holdup?"
Personally I like doing this mission after Zerus. That way, Zagara's fighting against a new-and-improved Queen of Blades that may or may not have Mutalisks and Impalers/Lurkers backing her up.
