I have often wondered how Clive manage to take over India . But I have a lot of Indian friends in the UK and have been on business many times do have a vid on what Americans did to "red indians" ? Do have a vid on what Indian men do to women ? or vid on Modi ? The biggest money maker in sport is Indian Cricket, bigger than the USA, or Soccer .. funny that

My family and their forefathers were tricked by the British after losing their land in India. They went into "indentured servitude" to work on sugar cane farms in Fiji thinking that they would eventually go back in 5 years. To put it shortly, they did not. Some people chose to go back to India but many stayed. This is why there are Indian populations in Fiji, Trinidad, and Jamaica to name a few places. Plenty of slaves to go around where workers were needed in global colonial British plantations. I guess the only bright side to this would be the spread of Indian influences in cuisine around the world. Overall though the countries that Britain gutted is kind of crazy when looking at a global scale and seeing the effects across hundreds of years. So many areas in the world have never recovered completely to this day. History like this is certainly valuable and should be taught more as opposed to people just finding out about it afterwards.

India went from British colonialism to Hindi colonialism. The land is still being looted and wealth is not properly distributed.

The British ripped off our homelands, made us poor, got us working for them and now they have an issue with immigrants in the uk. The definition of being ironic, the very same people you exploited to help build the country you live in now should go back lol. The chickens have come home to roost.

When India was such a economic superpower, why they didn't defend their country from British colonization? I mean they could have built or hired an army.

I think the point at the end stating India hasn't had a single large scale famine in 70 years kind of ignores the inventions of Norman borlaug (GMO wheat) and Haber and Bosch (artificial fertilizer) that helped prevent famines all over the world. That being said the video is well done and was very illuminating.

Prior to the British rule, during the Mughal era, India generally remained free from famines due to several factors. The existence of a well-connected national market for grain facilitated by the presence of larger food reserves at the village level, and better insulation of grain prices in surplus areas against speculation played significant roles. In fact, the average standard of food consumption during Emperor Akbar's reign surpassed that of 1960s India. Under rulers like Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb, measures were implemented to combat famines effectively. These included embargoes on food exports, regulations to deter speculative pricing, tax relief, and the distribution of free food without obligatory forced labor, which were contrary to the British Utilitarian approach. The Mughals even took punitive action against traders who exploited peasants during famines. In contrast to the British Raj's harsh taxation policies regarding irrigation and their disregard for traditional wells and reservoirs, the Mughals provided tax subsidies to encourage water conservation. They also offered tax concessions, promoted well constructions, and were generous in providing financial assistance. These measures, among others, greatly supported farmers during droughts. Furthermore, the Mughals actively encouraged the import of corn and sold it at reduced prices or distributed it freely among those who were impoverished. It is important to recognize that the Mughal administration adopted a range of strategies to protect the welfare of the population during times of food scarcity, whereas the British approach often fell short in addressing the needs of the people. - source: "Late Victorian Holocausts: El Niño Famines and the Making of the Third World" written by Mike Davis

Now will you address the millions of people that Islamic colonization of India has caused. In India they have a long history of hate for Muslims and for good reason yet you westerners would rather shit on your own culture than expose an even worse colonizer, I guess offending Muslims is just too much but making fun of white people is A-okay 😅
