Remember, the live audience doesn’t see their soundcheck , so unless there was a tech glitch requiring an immediate re-do, this was the first time people in Letterman’s audience heard the song. That makes their strong reaction to it even more incredible 😎
i used to be a evh fan, but not anymore...they treated Michael Anthony like a piece of dirt!!! I hope evh rots in hell!!! And his slut wife !!!!!...Alll pure white trash!!
Eddie Van Halen was the soundtrack of my childhood. From 1984 on I was a Van Halen fan. I wanted to be like Eddie. I couldn’t read sheet music either, so I became a filmmaker. I have directed and starred in quite a few short films.
This was my wedding song in ‘97 and I had no idea this was ever performed on tv. All these years later, I sit here in tears watching this, it means as much today as it did then ❤️
I love Van Halen, Eddie is in my heart mind and soul and always will be 🌹🔥❤️🎸💯😘😍🥁🎤I miss Alex don't see much of him anymore!! Sammy Hagar is the best ever 🎤🥁😍😘💯🎸❤️🔥🌹
Eddie was by farvway ahead of his time. Sammy made the band larger than life. To bad Eddie couldn't get over himself and caused so many problems. Alex was always great and Michael was the backbone. RIP Eddie.
Man…killer song! Great vocals by Sammy…great harmonizing by Mike and Ed…sublime guitar by EVH…driving drums by Alex…nice piano by Paul…all and all a well balanced song!!
My favorite part of the song is Eddie playing piano with that beautiful smile and that sexy thing he does with his eye brow. Great vocals sammy and harmony.😢❤ Love you guys miss you too rip Eddie ❤😊
So sad that this band didn't put out more material. Sammy sounded great, as did the rest of the band. I thought Balance was one of the best from VH. Mature music that rocked
