Let us pray also for the perfidious Jews: that Almighty God may remove the veil from their hearts; so that they too may acknowledge Jesus Christ our Lord.
¡Viva San Pío X! ¡Viva la Fraternidad Sacerdotal San Pío X! ¡Viva la Iglesia católica y mueran sus enemigos! ¡Viva la Misa de siempre! ¡Y viva Monseñor Lefebvre!
I went on a school trip and went in that very Cathedral, and it was surely amazing but there weren’t any lit sanctuary lamps in sight, along with every side Chapel was gated off, nowhere for a someone to pray in solitude
Thank you for the presentation! Michael Haller (1840-1915) was a canon of the collegiate monastery of the “Alte Kapelle” in Regensburg and also the cathedral bandmaster of the famous “Domspatzen”. It's great that his works are still performed all over the world! He never personally enriched himself financially from his compositions but donated everything to Holy Mother Church. Many greetings from Regensburg.
@@angmein1 Thank you for your comment, it was a true blessing to discover him and his music, i did not know him before my position as choir director in this church(where i recorded his music). His music is very solemn, majestic and relatively easy and só fitting for the Catholic liturgy. Where would one be without CPDL. :) Though I have found some proof that his music was indeed performed by big choirs in the Netherlands before the Second Vatican Council. We have sung his “Tu es Petrus” also, which can by found on my channel. May God bless the city of Regensburg!
I am a change ringer, and it is so nice to hear this even though they are chimes. There are two change ringing peals in the Netherlands in Dortrecht. Of coursex the Netherlands has been producing wonderful, harmonically tuned bells for a very long time. Royal Eijbouts are famous, and their bells are used for change ringing.
Yea, accompaniment is good. But can't get past the female parishioners don't wear a veil and most of the men are not dressed appropriately either. So my guess is another great parish destroyed by liberalism while keeping a nice shell of traditional Catholicism. SMH.
Matthew 12:42 …she (queen of Sheba) came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something more than Solomon is here.(JESUS CHRIST)
this mass appears to be in Latin. The last days of Gregorian Chant. The last days of observed Rubrics. The last days of genuflections and altar kissing. I served mass under the Paul VI missal. we cant boo hoo for ever. It wont come back to what it was. It cant ever come to what it is

Handel wrote this brilliant anthem for the coronation of a temporal leader - both a constitutional monarch and the Defender of the Faith. We are all so blessed by the revolution in music enabled by the Reformation! It's a pity those obsessed with religious iconography fail to grasp what truly inspired this masterpiece of musical genius.
Well played! I discovered Gordon Young's Cathedral Suite on Paul Fey's organist RU-vid channel. It certainly is more bombastic. How did the congregation respond?
Hi we sing the same hymn at our chapel from the Traditional Catholic Choir Book published by Angelus Press. I can tell you embellished the hymn with a beautiful descant - and maybe other additions I did not pick up on. Did you transcribe these parts? If so may I have a copy of the sheet music to pass on to my choir?
